Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The temperatures yesterday were much more bearable. More of the same today they say!
* W-spouse worked late again last night, finally arriving home after 8.
* I hadn't eaten all day and was hungry and I waited on her as long as I could. When she finally got off and headed home I told her to meet me at Sweety Pies. She decided that she was to tired to go so I went alone. I ate way to much, way to late.
* My sister and BIL will be moving back to Texas for good in less than two weeks.
* They gave me a margarita machine for my birthday last month. We took it to the lake with us and tried it out. We set it up outside under the camper awning. By the time it blended and shaved the ice, it was already starting to melt. We need to set it up inside, where I'm sure it will work better and the margaritas will last longer.
* It would be a huge hit at birthday party for a small kid. Assuming of course that you made shaved ice sno cones, and NOT margaritas.
* W-spouse is reading the book Fifty Shades of Grey. She is on the third book of the trilogy. I will wake up late at night and realize a light is on and turn over and she will be sitting up in the bed reading in the wee hours of the morning. That must be a "heck of a good" book.
* I have benefited quite nicely from her reading the materials. No, there hasn't been any whips and chains involved.
* I'm having weedeater issues again. Refer here for the outcome of the last incident. I'm not at that point yet, but nearly.
* It drives me nuts when someone calls me and I can't answer because I'm either on the phone or away from it for a second, and then when you call them back immediately, they don't answer.
* I'm pretty sure that my sister and I both suffer from OCD.
* I will lay in bed at night and unless the TV is on number 16 on the volume, I can't hardly go to sleep. W-spouse on the other hand could go to sleep during a bomb detonation.
* I used to think that the way I do some things was "just my routine". In reality it's OCD by definition.
* I better get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

coach likes to sleep with the tv on... i toss and turn until he's good & asleep...then i turn the dang thing off!

i have the grey trilogy but haven't started reading it yet...gotta finish the current book first

i wish i had a touch of ocd sometimes.... i would love to be more organized - although i don't want the anxiety that goes along with the ocd thing...

happy day my friend!

I think when W-spouse finishes the book, you might be in for some rough sledding.

I think if you have OCD it is to your benefit, because you surely get things done exactly right. Mo
