I'm a bald, overweight, out of shape kind of guy. Don't go to the gym, probably never will. Diagnosed with Diabetes about two years ago. I keep it in check with medicine and better eating habits. Eating is a hobby of mine so I struggle daily with that. I am married to a wonderful woman, and my best friend. We both have both been married previously and have children from those marriages. She has three boys, and I have two girls. We have two beautiful grandchildren, both girls.
We like weekends at the lake, camping, riding motorcycles, about anything football and...........NASCAR. Yep NASCAR. There is more to it than going around in circles and turning left, but we will get into that later.
I work in the Oil and gas Industry here in Wise County, commonly known as the Barnett Shale. For the most part I work long hours and some weekends. Work is pretty steady right now so things are good.
My goal here is to provide you with a daily outlook into my thoughts and share with you some pictures of life along the way. I had a random thoughts section in another Blog forum, but since that venue is already taken around these parts, I will call mine "From The Corner Of My Mind".
My spelling and grammar will not always be perfect and the pictures will not all be original. I'm pretty sure that I won't always be able to captivate your attention like Crazy Texas Mommy or come up with breaking news like Liberally Lean, or entertain you with graphic expression like Silicone Alley,but I will be just "Around The Corner".
