* Again, it's hot.
* I got the call from Karl Klement that I had been waiting for since Monday. Black Beauty was ready. I asked what had been the source of the noise? The alternator. The front bearing in the the alternator went out. They couldn't figure out the noise, so they started eliminating things. When they took the belt off and started it back up, the noise disappeared. The technician then spun the alternator and found the bearing out.
* I am so glad that it wasn't the turbo. It makes me feel better about Ford......and their "Better Ideas".
* Packed up everything for the weekend last night. W-stepson is taking the Teryx 4 out there today. W-spouse and I are going to hook up to the boat and stop by for groceries and head out there this evening.
* We are going to do some back road exploring this weekend on the Teryx 4.
* W-spouse and I had dinner last night at the Reunion on the Square. That's a neat place for small town Decatur. The food is good, but I lean more towards home style cooking, as you already can tell by looking at my gut.
* W-mom has to have surgery on her back in a few months. Keep her in your prayers please. Neither the surgery, or the recovery is going to be easy on her.

Glad they got yer truck fixed up. They do have a couple really good mechanics over there. Glad it was NOT the turbo! I've heard good things about this motor.
