As Tony left the room he walked right by me. He shook my hand and I congratulated him on the win tonight. He acknowledged me and briefly spoke. I'm ecstatic that we got to go up to the banquet hall and have a toast with the winner. It was amazing getting to watch our driver win at home, and to get to celebrate that win with him later. To some of you that's the equivalent of winning with your favorite sports team and getting to celebrate that win afterward. A night I will not forget for a long time.

That is too cool. I got to meet and chat with Rusty at a Miller Brewery event in 2000. But a post race celebration? Priceless.
Glad you had the thrill of meeting Smoke up close and personal.

Thanks for the fun Cuz you totally rock. I had a blast hanging with you and w-spouse for the week. Not to mention getting to meet all the new and old acquaintances again. LOL
