The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Happy Birthday Mom

I'm sorry for not having the time this week to write something really special today for you, but enough of that and on to the mushy stuff. Mom, thank you for bringing me into this world and for giving me the opportunity to spend time here with such a gracious, loving and caring person such as yourself. Simply said, I don't know anyone with as special of a heart for caring for others as you. Your endless days taking care of your kids, grand kids and now, great grand kids was not and is not an easy task. The selfless nights and days that you have spent taking care of your parents, other parents, aunts and uncles I couldn't even begin to keep track of. As you get older I see that you are slower in doing these things and slower in reacting to these situations, but the fire and passion in your eyes for helping others never fades.
Mom, I hope you have a treasured day. I hope you take it easy and rest. I hope Papa takes you someplace nice to eat for lunch, because I know where you will be this evening (watching one of your grandsons play football). I love you, my children and stepchildren love you, our family loves you, heck I don't guess I know anyone that ever didn't love you. Have a wonderful day Mom
Your Son Wendell

I think the world of your mother & called her on Friday to wish her happy birthday. Lucky for her, she did not have to listen to me sing it to her. Mo
