The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The weather guys said this morning that we might not make 100 degrees late this week. It's about time.
* Where did the weekend go? I just got off work on Saturday, it seems like, 8 hours ago.
* We purchased W-stepson a new mattress set for his bed over the weekend. When we removed the old one, we noticed that the box spring was broken to pieces. When asked what happened he stated "there might have been some horseplay involved." I replied "there might be some horseplay on your butt if the new one ends up like that."
* Wonderful lesson in our Sunday morning bible class. Monty gives you an entirely different perspective of the book of Revelation, unlike any I have ever encountered.
* W-stepson and I prepared the spot for the anticipated arrival of the new building. We had to take part of the fence and gate down so it would go through the gate. We tried to pull up the gate post, but it broke off level with the ground. Now it will have to be dug up and replaced when the gate goes back up.
* All that the news was reporting this morning centered around whether or not the NYC subways were operational. Vermont is completely under water and all they are worried about is NYC. Oh, and I forgot, they also showed some idiot swimming in a foot and a half of water in some street. Media stupidity.
* I know someone that just missed being on that plane.
* An eye for an eye would be a good punishment for  these idiots.
* Kyle Busch won the Nationwide race on Friday night at Bristol. It was his 50th win, overtaking Mark Martin for the most wins in that division. He accomplished this in his 219th race. In other words, he has won just shy of one quarter of the races he has entered. No small feat my friends.
* Brad Keselowski won the Sprint Cup race on Saturday night. Some say it was a boring race. I thought it was good, with lots of side by side push and shove racing. Bristol will never be crash and burn racing ever again with the new car design and with the importance of points and winning, the way the new format is set up. You need to finish the race, and finish consistently in the top five to be in the chase and stand a chance for the championship.
* I like Facebook and Twitter. One is quick and easy to throw something out there, the other is better for keeping up with friends and grand kids.
* It's time to start a new week, see ya Around The Corner!

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

There's a Friday night race, a Saturday race and a Sunday race? Is there any difference in them other then what they named each division?

My suggestion would be to run the Friday night race to the left (for traditionalists), the Saturday race to the right (thank you Lord for something different) and the Sunday race would be run to the left for the first half, then cut across the infield a run the last half to the right.

If they would do that, especially the Sunday deal, I would be a NASCAR fan for life!
