* The temperature has been very cool in the mornings, which has been nice. The last few days have been spectacular for being outside.
* Say a prayer for those affected by the storm over along the east coast. They got slammed overnight.
* Jarhead was trapped in Annapolis, but he rented a car and headed west yesterday. You can follow his journey along on Facebook. Seems he decided to make a video log of his travels home. Last I heard he was in Tennessee.
* Update on Cuz: Good days and down days. His rehab and therapy are coming along on schedule, and they had him off the ventilator for two and half hours yesterday. He had a urinary tract infection over the weekend, but they treated it and it seems to be under control now.
* I was able to get off work early enough on Sunday to meet the gang out at the rock park for some riding. We had a great time, other than W-stepson laying the Razr over on its side a few times. That was scary.
* When we left there, we stopped by W-baby moms and left the Teryx there for them to take Madison riding out in the pasture. She can't get enough of that.
* We heard from W-stepson #3 yesterday. Well actually, WE didn't hear from him, his dad did. He had called W-spouse the last time, so this time he called his dad. His dad then called W-spouse and caught her up on everything. He is still the squad leader and he's doing good. He has lost about 10 pounds so far, but he says it is because of all the work outs and drills, not because of lack of eating. He said the food is great in the mess hall, but any time they are out and food is brought to them, it's not very good.
* McDonalds has a sugar free French Vanilla latte that rocks !
* I hardly ever drank coffee till about three years ago. Blame W-spouse for that.
* She drinks coffee any time during the night or day. It never affects her sleep, but it does mine if I drink it late in the evenings.
* Thanks for the book W-mom. It has been very informative so far. There is so much we don't know, and so much we NEED to learn. This will be of great assistance.
* Facetime is great. So simple and easy to use.
* Oh, and I'm still loving the MacBook Pro. I find something new everyday.
* If you missed the sunrise this morning in Texas, you missed something marvelous.

We had a blast on the T-Rex yesterday afternoon. We went to the end of the road and waiting on her daddy to get home, and then he drove us around for a while. She loves the music on there too! Just like her momma. Thanks again for letting us keep it this week! It is going to be fun! Love you!
It's so nice to hear that your cousin is getting better & stronger each day. Getting him off that vent will be a huge step! My friend is available to visit at any time. He often visits people with spine injuries at TIRR. Just say the word and I'll send you his information. I think you'd really like him.
This weather has been so nice. Even here in the Valley we have had some cool(ish) mornings...such a relief! Of course by the week's end we will be pushing 90 again... bleh.
QT and Racetrac also have a sugar free French Vanilla Cappuccino that is great and about 25% of what I HEAR Starbucks costs.
I also like 7/11's but they don't have sugar free.
