Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The temperature this morning showed 29 for a low and 33 for a high as I watched the dash on the ride over to Ponder. It really is amazing how fast Texas weather can change.
* A week ago yesterday we were told that there wasn't any place for our rig to go. Then we caught one more job last week, then another came up. This time a rush job. SO we are working all weekend to get finished with it before the frac crews arrive on Monday. Such is the life in oilfield. "Hurry up and wait".
* Believe me, I'm NOT complaining.
* W-spouse is on call and is also working today.
* Neither of us wanted to get out of bed this morning. The heater wasn't on and it was cold, very cold in the house.
* With Christmas coming on fast, the races quickly approaching, and going out to visit W-stepson in Georgia in a few weeks, I need to work ALL I can.
* We also need to go see the In-laws before long. It seems I haven't seen them in 6 months. I miss you Mo and Big Dude!
* W-mom and Papa Harold made a quick trip down to Houston to see Cuz. The report last night was that he had a great day and they even started weaning him off the ventilator again. He started back on physical therapy and according to the therapists, he was moving along right on schedule. I was also told that the therapists had said that his attitude was great, and that he has the spirit it takes to achieve his goals. Thats David!
* I can't tell you how much that I LOVE this MacBook Pro. I seriously can't believe that I haven't changed to Apple before now. My greatest fear was learning the new system. Actually, it's so much easier than Windows. I did purchase Office for Mac at the same time I got the laptop. I don't know if it was because I had an older version of Office, or just this version, but it's so much simpler and easier to use. Everything transferred over so far without losing any documents and it's all working without any issues.
* Our desktop at home is Windows, and it's fairly new. Less than 2 years old. When it's time to replace it, I will also go with Mac.
* We had plans to go up to Bulcher and ride the Teryx4 at the Red River. I can't go so W-spouse may get her first experience alone with loading and unloading the trailer. I have faith that she can do that, well maybe a little faith. ;-)
* Gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!
