* This weather is fantastic. On Saturday the temperature is supposed to stay in the 50s all day.
* Update on Cuz: I talked to his father yesterday and he is progressing well through therapy. His physical therapy is coming along on schedule. His respiratory therapy is also good, except for his blow test. He is a little behind on it, but they are working with him blowing through a straw, and doing sand art on a board. This is to strengthen that blow reflex and assist him in weaning off the vent. He is blowing a 1100-1200 and needs to be at 1400. While on the padded mat in the gym, he has had some resistance in his back muscles. That is a good sign, and every little muscle resistance will help him in the future to be able to live a more normal life. He is eating and drinking now, even solid foods. He will only be at TIRR till they get him off the vent. Then he will move to a step down facility until the halo is removed and he heals properly. While at the step down, he will continue with therapy, just not as extensive as at TIRR. Then the plan is to bring him back to TIRR for Phase two of his rehab. I haven't been putting much on here about it, because most of you are following along at www.carepages.com anyway.
* To the commentor that states "you have already forgotten him". I don't think you can even imagine how much that I have "NOT" forgotten him. He is in my constant thoughts, and prayers.
* This past weekend W-spouse, both W-daughters and myself went out to the rock park at Bridgeport and stayed way up into the night. They had an all night run on Saturday night. We had a fun time, and it was great getting to spend some time with some of my past members of the Bridgeport Vol. Fire Department.
* Update on Big Ed: The doctors think it was a "mini stroke". He got to come home last night and more tests are needed, and scheduled to evaluate his condition for sure.
* From all indications, this may be our last location to go to for a little while at work. Things are kind of slowed right now in our particular area. I hope that changes by Wednesday, or I may have a few days at home.
* We took Madison to the Pumpkin Patch in Decatur on Saturday morning. We took over 400 pictures and numerous videos. She had a great time and we couldn't keep her off the slide. She petted and fed the goats and was a little scared of them, but after a few minutes she didn't want to leave there either. We are going to try and take Ava G one day this week after work.
* NASCAR: I didn't think Brad Keselowski would be leading the points race at this point in the Chase. I had it figured to be Greg Biffle, Clint Boyer or of course Jimmy Johnson. Things can change pretty quick in the Chase, just like happened last year when Tony Stewart won 5 out of 12 of the Chase races. If Brad K's team doesn't collapse, he will probably take it all. Tony isn't mathematically out of it, I just don't sense the same drive and determination that he had last year. For the first time in 6 years I won't be camping at the races in November. With things like they are with Cuz, and me taking off from work, I don't think I need to this time around. Hopefully we can pick that back up in the spring.
* Life changes so fast it seems.
* Have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

I'm getting a tingly feeling about Clint Boyer. It may well come down to a last lap at Homestead again. The final races will be interesting.
BTW, FOX is killing SPEED. It will become FOX Sports 1 early next year to compete with ESPN and SPEED will reduced to an internet network with limited coverage.
At least we won't have to watch Hard Parts: South Bronx anymore.
Anyone who can even remotely think you "have already forgotten him", does not know our family very well! We will ALWAYS be there for David, no matter the cost!!! You are true "brothers" and nothing will ever come between you guys. Love ya Bubba!!
Prayers ongoing for David. Have fun with the kids for Halloween. Mo
