* It was a cool 46 degrees over near Ponder this morning. It felt great.
* Last weekend, before I made the trek to Houston again, we spent Saturday out at the Northwest OHV park. The W.E. Rock Dirt Riot championships were being held out there. Both W-daughters, W-spouse and I went out there and took pictures and video all day long. Some of the machines that raced were capable of doing over 100mph and it was a blast watching them maneuver the different obstacles. There were long straights and lots of hills, and hills with huge boulders to climb. The total course was 4.8 miles long. You can real all about it in the Bridgeport Index from this past week. There is a picture of a guy in there that we have gotten to be friends with. He ran in the Open Stock class and won second place. He would have had first place, but he chose to run in 4wd instead of 2wd and it slowed him quite considerably. It was a fun day spent with the family. I have tons of video and pictures to edit and will post some later.
* This Saturday night is the All Night Run event at the Northwest OHV Park and the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department will be doing all the cooking all day Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday morning for breakfast. The rock climbers will be climbing all day and night. I was told by the Chief of the department that next year, possibly the spring run, that they are planning on having a band play. Come on out and support your local park, and the local Fire Department.
* I purchased a set of these for the Teryx4 and have them installed. The headlights on the Teryx4 are really bad. If I had a complaint about the machine, that would be it. Kawasaki really built and great machine with the Teryx4, but installed some really sorry and cheap lights. These Rigid lights will shine out to 200 yards.
* I had a gift certificate left over from the warranty recall they had given me, and I used it to also get headlight and tail light guards for the Teryx. You can see them here and here. They won't be in till next week.
* Thanks for that email RBS, it "hit the spot". I sent it on to W-mom.
* I've missed church the last two weeks. I wonder if they remember me?
* I bet there are a lot of my readers that didn't think they would ever hear me say that phrase above.
* We got two letters from W-stepson #3 yesterday. He was good and told us about all the friends that he's met, and about his drill Sargent's. I need to set down and write him a letter this weekend.
* I must mention Cuz. He's doing good, as well as can be expected. You can read the updates on carepages.com, or just call or text me. It's to lengthy to go into here. His rehab has started, and he's progressing well.
* The group text continues. Nuff said!
* Have a great weekend, and see ya Around The Corner!

But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Really looking forward to Saturday! It is going to be so much fun! It might be cold though...must remember to bring a hoodie :) I wonder what kinds of things we will see this time?
P.S. Remember to bring some fishing line! Bahahaha! Love you!
I need to go check out the OHV Park. Pretty sure I'd become addicted pretty quick.
I've been keeping up with your cousin's progress...he really is doing quite well! Keeping you all in my prayers.
I am learning that there is no winter in the Valley. We have hot & hotter... that's it. I so miss cooler weather! I'm going to have to tell Coach the next move will be more climatically acceptable to me LOL
That weekend of OHV stuff sounds like a large time! Be safe!
Of course we remember you, Brother Backslider.
