From The Corner Of My Mind

* Temps are expected to get back in to the triple digits today and for the next few days with no rain in sight.
* The pain in my side is still there. I would say it's not quite as bad, but still there and annoying as heck.
* Yesterday when I first arrived at the ER, my blood pressure was high. Higher than normal. By the time I was discharged, it was lower and normal.
* Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I received one text yesterday that I must share with you though. I busted out laughing when I read it. My phone beeped late last night and the text read: Hey friend, I've been to to many funerals lately and don't want to attend another, so will you please take care of yourself and slow down. Don't even take time to respond to this, just go to bed. #textsfromlastnight
* I do have an appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow, and I promise to attend. In all honesty, I don't think it's my heart. I keep thinking I've pulled?strained something, but I'm not doctor so I will go get checked out.
* I can hear the diagnosis now: Wendell, you need to eat better. Wendell, you need to exercise. Wendell, you need to quit dipping snuff. Wendell, you need get more rest. Wendell, you need to remove some of the stress from your life. Wendell, yada yada yada.
* Now before you go and get all up in my ass about all the above. Make sure you have all the things listed above checked off your list.
* I think yesterdays debacle might have scared W-spouse. I know it did me. She's all up in my case about it and she swears that when we get back from vacation that we are going to make some changes.
* I've been praying about it, and will continue to do so.
* Today's funny spam email: hey Wendell dont give up now that you have come this far be fair to yourself and look at this change your life today trust me anything is possible everyday i wake up feeling fresh (insert link to viagra site here) dont let work get the best out of you instead work at home and let your family enjoy the best of you its easy anybody can do it dont be the last to know
* I wish I could figure out how to run this pump and swivel from my recliner at home. Sit in the AC all day and stream movies while I work. Now folks, that would be a stress reliever.

* Thanks for all the info about the credit/debit cards, even though the comments nearly all are different. I will be contacting the bank today and checking in to it. I've been reading the reviews from our vacation site and some people say don't carry large amounts of cash, some people say use all cash. Some people say to only use credit cards. #confused

* I've met The Donalds Place. He approached me in an Academy store and introduced himself. Very nice guy, and I love reading his blog, most especially the sermons he posts from his church. I want to go visit there someday perhaps. I'm not in to the huge mega church thing, but I would like to hear his Pastor speak in person. Also ladies, he's single, and by all accounts a pretty good catch. Donald leave your number in the comment section so we can get you hooked up :-) You're so very welcome!

* Oh, and Donald, W-spouse plan is for her and I to start riding bicycles. I might need to get the ER number on speed dial.

* Today is my last day at work till July 30th. I will try to get in a blog post tomorrow, and with the changes in my phone plan, I hope to be blogging live from Mexico.
