Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My MInd

* The countdown is on. Less than 5 days and we will be boarding a plane for vacation. Honestly, if it rains every day and I have to be stuck in the resort room, I won't be disappointed.
* Rest and sleep sounds like a good vacation to me.
* This vacation was planned by W-spouse and the location was mainly decided upon for W-stepsons graduation gift. The next vacation we take will be a mutual agreement between W-spouse and I. Just her and I, something we haven't done since we got married. We've always had another couple or family with us. We plan on taking one alone together the next time. Maybe.
* A copy of a blog comment in my email this morning:

* Spam. Everyday. Ughhhh.
* The turkey was in front of the tree. Between the fence and the tree. If you make the picture bigger you can clearly see it.
* I was hoping for some funny comments when I posted it. I'm somewhat disappointed in no comment from Jarhead though.
* I purchased a new camera this weekend with the help from a generous gift certificate, and some money I received for my birthday. Thanks everyone. I couldn't hardly wait to get it out of the package and start messing with it. I also purchased an adapter to download the movies straight to my IPad. The camera comes with all sorts of adapters and mounts right in the box. It is also waterproof to 60 meters (close to 180') so if W-spouse wants to snorkel deep with it, she can. I will probably be doing my snorkeling real close to the surface. I also purchased a backdoor floaty in case it gets dropped in the water.
* We will be using the camera on vacation, but I mainly got it for when we are in the Teryx4 and in the Jeep.
* Our Teryx4 got a recall. Problem is, I have spoken with the dealer twice and they are telling us that as of right now, Kawasaki hasn't released the fix for it. They just told all the dealers to tell the owners to either park the machine or bring it back to the dealership. We did the later. Sounds like there are either lawsuits pending, or already in the works. Apparently from reading on the forums, there is a steering box issue. So it's probably not Kawasaki's fault, it's more than likely the vendor that produced the faulty part. So they must get the new part built, tested and installed on all the machines before we can use them. Quite possibly a month or two.
* Some sort of compensation is due the owners in my opinion. Rumors are that they will be offering an extension of the warranty starting from the time of the repair. I think a monetary compensation towards parts and accessories should also be included, but I doubt that.
* ATTENTION MOM: Listen to 7/1/2012, 7/08/2012, 7/15/2012 if you can take the time to do it. I think you will enjoy it. This series started the same weekend that we watched the Barbara Walters special on Heaven. I think Monty explains it better, but I'm kind of partial to his sermons.
* I gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!

I only comment when you least expect me to comment. Otherwise, where's the fun in being me if I do everything you expect me to?
