Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone
The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind
* It's a hot son of a gun. Today is going to be miserable working outside.
* Yea, I don't HAVE to, I GET to.
* This year for some reason the heat is beating me down by late evening. We went to the lake after church on Sunday, I was hot and miserable by the time we got home. Although the lake felt wonderful.
* The annual Watson family reunion starts on Saturday. That's something I look forward to every year. The crowd is getting smaller, and older. One of the elder Watsons turned 85 just this week.
* We plan on staying the weekend, and later in the week if work allows.
* On the way to the lake Sunday the back engine cover blew up on the boat and damaged it. That equates to more money spent on the boat. I've just about had my fill of spending money on that boat.
* Mr Answers led our Bible class Sunday morning. His lessons are always thought provoking. A good discussion was had by all.
* I'm looking to buy a utility trailer. A 16' is what I'm looking for. New or a good reasonably priced used one, fixer upper, if you know where one is sitting around.
* I just read/listened to the book Columbine on audiobook. I am now reading one that is called Under The Banner Of Heaven. BG posted on his blog that he was also reading it. Coincidence? It's really hard keeping up with all the characters, especially listening to it instead of actually reading it. While reading it, I am keeping an open mind about the Mormon faith. I know nothing about it, and at some point I want to read the Book Of Mormon. Just to say I did.
* Black Beauty is currently in the service shop at Karl Klement Ford. A noise developed and as of yesterday, they hadn't discovered the origin of said noise. It sounds like the noise an old car/truck used to make when a bearing would go out in an alternator or AC pulley. When you open the hood, it's a challenge to even stick a screwdriver down into the engine compartment, because everything is cram packed in there. So finding the noise isn't going to be easy.
* After purchasing Black Beauty I was reading some blogs and forums about the new 6.7 Ford diesel. I discovered that IF you were to have to pull the engine, that the cab would have to be removed in order for the engine to come out. Ughhhh.
* They didn't have a loaner, so I'm in the Jeep. W-spouse is bumming rides from Cole and I.
* Did I mention that it's hot?
* My. Daughter is looking for a job. Anyone know any job openings around close?
* W-baby mom and her family are headed North to Michigan to visit her in laws for a vacation next week. Keep them in your prayers as they travel such a long distance.
* W-mom is having some health issues. She has an appointment with a neurosurgeon on Thursday for her back. Pray Pray Pray that surgery can be avoided.
* Gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!

What do boats and Ford diesels have in common? They are addicted to money.
I learned this the hard way. Just be glad you don't have the 6.0 Powerstroke like I do.
we have a trailer but i'm not sure how long it is... currently it has a welding box attached to it but that is coming off in the next few days thereby making it a utility trailer :) i can ask coach how long and all that if you'd like... it's in brenham right now
prayers for w-mom... hope all turns out well with the neuro doc...
Excited about vacation! I hope that we have a good time! I also had a great time out on the lake, the water felt amazing, and it felt good to just swim!! Thank you for all you do for us. Love you!
