* I listened to the weather report last night, and they stated that at this same time last year we had already had 7 days above 100 degrees. I'm assuming that was at the official weather station at DFW. I've seen temps over 100 nearly everyday for two weeks.
* A man with no legs, or should I say, no lower body, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro (the tallest peak in Africa). He stated that he climbed it to raise money for Feed The Children program, but he also did it to "redefine what's possible for me, and to inspire others to overcome obstacles and challenges of their own". WOW
* He climbed 80 percent of it just using his hands and the other 20 percent using a specially designed wheel chair where terrain made it possible.
* Kind of makes my aches and pains when I go home every day look pretty insignificant.
* I got reminded that "I don't HAVE to, I GET too" the other day. Thanks
* It's very easy to fall off of a wagon, but much harder to chase it down and climb back on.
* I'm so pissed off about this. I sure hope my children never get caught doing this to someone, because I don't know what I would do to them in retaliation. It is our hope and prayer that we have taught them better. I hurt for this poor little lady.
* Mysterious rare fungus turns out to be......A WHAT? Now, that's funny.
* As a father of two daughters, he did the right thing. Case closed.
* A good friend is boarding a plane this morning to visit her homeland in Ireland. I would like to go there someday.
* A relative arrived back in the States yesterday after being gone for a few months visiting Europe and some other countries abroad.
* And yet another relative is still overseas travelling abroad. She's just winging it and you can follow along here on her Facebook page.
* I never dreamed of doing that when I graduated high school. One thing is that I couldn't afford it. If I had it to do over again, I would.
* It's time to get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

Wendell, i always try to give you a ration of sh*t and pull your string. But I was glad to see that you thanked me for the reminder that you get to work. I always say that when you think life is hard and sucks,, just take a few moments, look around and see that there are people who have it a heck of a lot worse than us. we are blessed... signed an old friend...
So glad W-2nd Cuz is home from Europe and her studies!!! She made the Deans list!! That is what concentration to learn the language in the country you are living in does for you even with all the distractions!! I am the same as you, wish I could have done it back in college too!!!
