* I had a wonderful Fathers day. Vicki, W-spouse and I spent the day at Rocky Ridge riding the Terex4. We had lunch (sandwiches) on the tailgate of my pickup under a shade tree. We also shared a watermelon and drank gatorade and water. I can't remember having such a good time with one of my daughters in a long time. We all laughed so much that the muscles in our necks are hurting. At one point we were going through a mud hole in a creek, one that we had previously went through with no problem, and we buried the Terex. I was driving, so I got the blame, but my navigators were telling me where to go. W-spouse ended up walking nearly 2 miles to get the pickup. Vicki and I stayed and tried to get it unstuck, but had no luck. When she returned with the truck I pulled it down in the creek and pulled the Terex out. We then made our way back up to the front. I had received a text from W-baby mom saying that storms were building in the area. We decided that since we were already wet and muddy that a little rain wouldn't hurt us, so we took off riding again. About the time we got back down to the lake the rain hit. We got under a tree, but we all got soaked anyway. We made our way back up to the front and loaded up and headed home. Each of us soaked to the bone and muddy from head to toe.
* Here is a picture of the Terex stuck. It doesn't look bad, but it was setting on the belly pan from front to rear and wouldn't move.
* Yep, that's a winch you see in the picture. A fully functional winch. One that would have gotten us unstuck had it been hooked up. I installed it last weekend, but haven't had a chance to wire it up properly. I need to order a quick disconnect, and just didn't do it yet. But......It looks cool!
* According to W-spouse, the winch will be working before our next outing or I will be the one doing the walking. GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE
* During the recovery process I was walking around barefooted in the mud and stepped on a rock and cut the bottom of my foot. W-spouse cleaned it all up last night and "Doctored it up" but this morning it is extremely sore.* There a few videos on my Facebook page where you can see the Terex in operation. It's a beast.
* W-spouse and I have played hooky from church the last two weeks. Last week she was working and on call, this week she and I both worked on Saturday and played on Sunday.
* Vicki and I got to talk about things yesterday. It was good to just be able to talk. She is going through a really tough time in her life right now and I ask that you keep her in your prayers. She is going to need a lot of love and support and I hope as her father, that she will lean on me for guidance. I love you girl!
* Less than a month to go and W-spouse and I will be lying on a beach in Cozumel. We are counting down the days.
* After our fun yesterday and we were taking Vicki home, we stopped by Frillys to have supper. I asked the waitress to tune in to the race so I could watch the end. It had started two hours late due to a rain delay so it was still on after we got back. I looked up to see Dale Earnhart Jj pulling in to victory lane. It had been 4 years to the day since his last win. I'm pretty sure the banks and Post offices are shut down in the Southeastern US area today. Those people are serious about their driver and most of the "Junior Nation" are probably still celebrating today.
* If Labron James or Dwayne Wade had only scored two points a game for the last four years, would you even know who they are? NASCAR fans are serious about their drivers and faithfully stick with them till death or retirement.
* Funny text I got yesterday after the race. "I bet Dale Jr has been practising that burn out in the pasture in his go cart". LMBO
* We are moving to a location today or tomorrow that the internet signal is much better. Here it just fades in and out.
* Have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!

You were missed at Church. What happened to the jeep?
Nothing wrong with the Jeep. We got this so that everyone could enjoy it.
We will be back soon...
Newly Former City Girl question: is the Terex4 a "gator" type thing?
What a nice Father's Day you had....=)
Your boy, Tony Stewart was a little less than gracious about Junior's win. lol
