From The Corner Of My Mind

* Another brief shower moved through Decatur last night. Just a few drops of rain. It's pouring down on my location right now.
* It seems to me that Denton county gets more rain than Wise county.
* Attention Ratherbesailing: Thanks for the wishes, It took me a few minutes, but I figured it out. I finally looked at the postal stamp and that gave it away. I've always thought highly of you and your spouse. I wished that you two had never moved away. I will always remember the that time period at the lake. Some of the happiest moments in my life.
* Cuz posted another picture of him and I on Facebook

* We debated back and forth about who the child was that I was holding all day. My first thought was that it was my oldest daughter, but I wasn't sure of that. Later we figured it out who it was. Cuz and I are in the second cousin group of the Green family and the child I'm holding is a first cousins son. Make sense? Probably not.
* Let me explain the best way I know how. Before I do, know this, I won't post any negative comments. When my mother remarried, she married her uncles (Bo) brother in law (Harold). Her uncle Bo has children which means that they and my mother are first cousins. Easy so far? Harold is also an uncle to the cousins (on the aunts side of the family). So when my mother and Harold married, now the cousins have another aunt, my mother, which is also their cousin on Bo's side of the family. So she is their aunt on one side of the family and their cousin on the other. That also makes them my second cousins on one side of the family and my step first cousins on the other.  Whoaaaa, that sounds bad.
