From The Corner Of My Mind

* I hope the last few weeks are not an indication of what July-August is going to be. If so, it's gonna be a long hot summer.
* If that is the case, then our water bill is going to be enormous trying to keep the new grass alive.
* Yeah I bought a new Cowboy hat yesterday. My daughter helped choose the style this time. Don't be hatin!
* I sent that picture to our group text yesterday. The first response back was "Brokeback Mountain".
* I responded back with "Got Sheep"?
* I now am the proud owner of a Savage .17 HMR rifle. Black synthetic stock. Instead of the rifle/scope combo, the person that picked it up for me in Tyler opted to go with a better scope. A 3x9 but I don't remember which brand. When I get it all here I will take a picture and post it.
* I will be getting this safe as soon as possible. Not so much to deter the thieves, but to keep little wandering hands from getting near the guns.
* I'm thinking about taking the boat out this weekend. Open wallet, dump contents somewhere.
* W-spouse and I watched a documentary about Joe Namath the other day. It was interesting to see his progression from high school to the pros. I didn't know how big of an impression he made on society at that time. I barely remember him playing, but we never had sports on at our house back then, and if we did, I wouldn't have known it because I was never in the house to watch it.
* How soon will it be that you can stream live TV right on the dash of your vehicle? I know you can get that now, but I mean in the sense that it will be an option on your everyday vehicle purchase?
* The rig operator and I had to run back over to the store where they park their vehicles this morning to pick up a part he had forgotten to get. On the way over there (around 7:15am) we saw a lady jumping in to a swimming pool. I looked down at my temperature gauge and it showed 61 degrees.
* It's looking like we will have another weekend off. I plan on enjoying every minute of it.
* Have a great weekend, see ya Around The Corner!

Boats, jeeps, golf, whatever! Just don't think about it rationally and you'll be ok.

I'm assuming it was the HBO Documentary "Namath" you watched. Great show!

The new radio I bought for my truck has live TV. Problem is it's an analog tuner and everything is broadcast in digital now. Probably why it was so cheap. I could buy a converter, but I don't really need live TV. It's also disabled when the vehicle is in motion unless you know which wire to ground to disable that safety feature. Hint: It's the one labeled "Ground this wire".
