* It's a beautiful clear morning in North Texas.
* It was so nice to be off for a few days and get caught up on everything.
* I got a lot of errands ran on Friday when I got off, and a few chores that needed taking care of.
* Which meant that Saturday was play time. Except, it was raining. Nearly all day it sprinkled or showered on and off. Rain and a Jeep with the sides and top off is not a good mix.
* We went to the OHV park anyway and rode around with a co-worker that has been wanting to go out there with his son. They had a blast and so did we.
The Bridgeport Vol. Fire Department was out there cooking for everyone because the park was going to be open for a night run. There were more vehicles out there than I had ever saw before and it was a blast watching them and participating.
* Late Saturday evening I went and picked W-baby mom up about 7:30pm and her and I went back out there for a couple of hours to watch them all in the dark. We stayed a lot longer than we anticipated and didn't get home till nearly 2am Sunday morning. We had a great time watching the modified Jeeps and buggies climb in the dark. We saw two of them roll over and helped get them back upright and on the road again.
* I slept in on Sunday morning, waking up just in time to make it to Bible Class and Church. Well, we might have been a few minutes late to class, but they hadn't started yet anyway.
* After church we took W-mom out for lunch for Mothers Day to Catfish O'Harlies. That place was packed and as busy as I have ever seen it.
* After lunch I mowed and weedeated the backyard and then I went and washed the Jeep. It took $11 to wash it after playing in the mud all day Saturday. I then put the top and sides back on it so that W-spouse can start driving it because we sold W-stepsons truck on Friday.
* W-spouse is getting a new SUV in the near future, so she wanted to go ahead and give him his truck for graduation, and we also got a good offer on his truck and didn't want to miss selling it.
* So the Jeep is her primary vehicle for a while. Her choice.
* That might put a damper on my OHV park riding for a while. Or it could quite possibly be a good reason for starting a build on one, or purchasing a modified one. Or not.
* Sunday evening the boys came and cooked dinner for their mother and we all had a great time visiting and watching Ava G play on the swings and slide.
* By 7pm, I was beat down and just sat in the recliner and watched my Sunday night shows.
* W-spouse purchased our vacation trip yesterday, and then news broke that they had found a bunch of bodies piled up along the side of a road in Mexico. ATTENTION DEAR: Might want to rethink that Mexico thing. Colorado is sounding a lot better to me.
* Have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Sounds like a great weekend all the way around. Do hope y'all are rethinking Mexico. Mo
I had a blast! I am totally down for working or helping build a motified one :) That would be really really fun! At last we could live my life long dream of going down the steps! Woo Hoo!
PS. You shouldnt wear skinny jeans while at the OHV park, it just doesnt look right, unless of course you are listening to Lady Gaga :)
Colorado will make Mexico look like punishment.
Perfect weather (in the summer), trophy fish you can release to stay with their family, friendly people that aren't looking for trophy body parts, real food and you can drink the water without being invaded by little thingies.
Smoke needs to get more aggressive!
Proud of Danica for finishing.
We had a blast when we went Cuz. Still one of my favorite trips just be careful drinking river water LOL
Can't believe I give you my baby and you sell it :( I'm in mourning lol
Seriously though Cuz take it from me because of what I do I'm sometimes more informed than most. PLEASE rethink the Mexico trip for this year at least. And that's all I'm saying on that subject.
I always regretted the fact we never got a chance to go on another trip with just you and I venturing out on our own like the trip home from Colorado . We left it in one piece kinda LOL
