Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* A nice rain shower moved through Decatur last night. Enough so that I turned the sprinklers off for a few days.
* We moved to a different location yesterday and the cell phone service is not that good. The internet signal is in and out. It's in right now, but may be gone before I can post this.
* Got a call from W-baby mom this morning and Madison was up all night again. This morning at 6am she was running a fever again. She scheduled her an appointment at the doctor for 1:30 this evening. Probably another ear infection.
* Our company president and one of our CFOs came out to my location yesterday looking around at our equipment. We also met at Frillys last night for dinner and cocktails. I got home about 11pm. I'm tired today, but not as tired as the others. From what I hear, they closed the place down.
* I posted a comment over at LL the other day and one of his commentors replied to it. Called me a name and basically ragged on my blog. For that person to think that my blog is that bad, they sure know a lot about it, and must log on frequently enough to have that information.
* Thanks for reading everyday.
* The band is booked and the venue is booked for my birthday party. Thanks W-spouse for getting all of that taken care of, and for also getting the invitations taken care of.
* This weekend is the night run at Bridgeport OHV park. It's looking like I have the weekend off and will be out there for a while. My night navigator and co-pilot may be home with a sick baby so I may have to get W-spouse to fill in.
* We are getting rid of one of our vehicles this weekend. Look for a new SUV in our future. W-spouse wants a new Expedition. I'm trying to talk her in to getting a new 4 door Jeep. She isn't liking that idea. Some assistance in this matter would be helpful. I KNOW you all have my back, right?
* NO...we are not getting rid of the Jeep. We are getting rid of W-stepsons pickup. We have been made an offer on it that we can't refuse. He is getting W-spouses pickup when he graduates anyway, so two weeks early doesn't matter.
* W-spouse said she wants to drive the Jeep for a while. Looks like I will be putting the top and doors and sides all back on it so she can ride in comfort. My Jeep is going to turn into a "soccer mom van".
* Don't forget that Sunday is Mothers Day. That was your reminder. Your welcome.
* I think that Obama was the worst thing to happen to our nation in the last 50 years.
* Y'all have a great weekend, see ya Around The Corner!

Brother, don't worry about anonymous comments. Let them say it to your face which they won't because that's not the coward's way.

Tina loves her Expedition, sorry!

I have your back on the new jeep theory. Not!!!! Whitney deserves to ride in whatever she wants to ride in. She is after all your queen. I love your blog and thank you for sharing your life with us. I am praying that your daughter gets back in touch with you. We are going through the same thing.I haven't been allowed to see my grandbabies for over a year. Just because we said no.

my mind is not what it used to be, so the mangled mess that has been left up there might be tainting my memory...

but didn't the jeep get purchased after the sale of w-spouses' motorcycle? thereby making the jeep hers? hmmm... :)

i vote for getting her whatever vehicle she wants... and letting her fix it up however she wants...

love you! :)

I started following LL's blog when i first started blogging, and I really wish I could figure out how to unfollow him. I don't like him. Maybe it would be nicer to say that I don't like his blog. Maybe I should stick with the truth. I don't like him.
