* "I think it's deplorable to wear such a get-up to church, so you, Mr. ATC, are the idiot, and totally disrespectful to the God that you so adore and promote on your blog. Pfft."
* That comment was made to me on my blog post here last Sunday morning.
* It has stuck with me since then, but not in the fact that it hurt my feelings. What stuck with me is that someone noticed that I adore and promote God on my blog. I am so proud that I have touched, at the very least, one person. From the comments I received I feel it's the modern day opinion that what you wear to church doesn't matter as long as it isn't distracting to others and take away from the reason that you are at church in the first place. I was asked during the morning service, by the Pastor, on Sunday to stand up and show everyone what I was wearing and why. He explained that what I was wearing was the equivalent of having a Tony Romo jersey on during the Super Bowl if such were the case. In my opinion it didn't take away from the service at all, if anything it led into the message that he had prepared for the day. That isn't the point in this post though. That argument has been settled in the comments section. First, let me say that I responded by calling this person an idiot. This troll pulled me into the very place (by me responding in the manner that I did) that I said I wasn't going to do. To the commentor I say "I'm sorry for calling you an idiot". I say that because if I am to promote and adore my God on this blog, then I need to respond in a manner that fits. In the beginning I made it clear that I wouldn't allow myself to be drawn into that and in the heat of the moment I failed. Today is new day and in the future I will probably just delete such comments and let God handle them in cyberspace. I'm not proud of some of the things I've done in my past and I'm pretty sure that God wasn't very proud of me either, but I'm also very sure that he is proud of where I am now in my life and the path that W-spouse and I have chosen to lead, guide and direct our children and grand children. A path that they will someday know leads straight to Heaven. This is the message that I want to send today. As my readers, it's your choice where you want to be today. It's your choice what you want to say, and how you want to respond to this post. It's your choice and only yours if you believe that God is your chance in eternity or not. It's up to you today to choose which path you want to follow.
* If you want a true blessing, come to Central Fellowship Church on Sunday morning at 9:30 am. You will be greeted at the door and be honestly welcomed to a church home. You will then be shown to a class of your choosing, and there you will hear the true word of God. When the class is over you can mingle throughout the church and be warmly introduced to other people that truly care about you and hearing the word of God. At 10:30am sharp our Praise and Worship service starts with joyful songs being played and sung by others just as eager to be filled with the Spirit. Soon after our Pastor Monty Tuttle will lead you into a sermon that will leave you starving for more of the word. His ability to teach the word of God is amazing. You will try hard to find another person that is more passionate for the Lord than Monty and he works real hard to make sure every person that walks through our doors feel as welcome on the first day as you will three years later.

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
