* 34 degrees on the drive over this morning, and it's simply beautiful.
* I'm listening to Sirius NASCAR radio this morning and the question is being asked, "How would you feel if Carl Edwards won the Chase Championship without winning a race during the Chase?".
* I feel more points, significant points toward a win, should be awarded during the Chase. Consistency is good, but winning is better.
* It's time to upgrade to the new IPhone 4S
* I saw an old friend yesterday that repaired my son in laws car for me. 6 years ago he started his own truck repair business. He has had to shut down his business because when things slowed down, and the economy went south people quit paying him. He told me last night that local well known trucking companies owe him in excess of $100,000. He has paid all of his vendor accounts off, but now he is more or less broke. This guy has a huge shop, hundreds of thousands of dollars in nice tools, computerized tools, and specialty tools. He even has a car lift in his shop, and it's just sad that a guy that has a passion for repairing things, an incredible talent for trouble shooting problems, a very good fabricator and welder can't make a living doing what he likes to do. Or can't get paid by those that owe him when he does get to do it. He is now driving a hot shot truck to make a living for his family.
* A guy that wants to work, has the ability and tools to do the job, and can't do it. Why the hell is that?
* He fixed our son in laws car for a very reasonable amount of money, but it took him a little longer than expected, only because he worked on it over the weekend and in the evenings after long hours of doing his day job.
* I watched a movie yesterday. Gangs Of New York. I thought it was a pretty good movie. It's nearly three hours long.
* Unspeakable.
* Your never to old to get married.
* He could have at least waited till Obama was home.
* Will this drive the price of the IPad down?

i so want a new ereader... i don't need lots of wing-dings and wam-wams... currently i have a reader with no wifi and it hasn't been an issue...i download multiple books and load them to reader...
but... man wifi? and touch screen? yes... i want! lol the only downside for me about the kindle line is that you can only purchase from kindle... i have so many free book sites i use and that would be no bueno with kindle...ugh

That murderous woman isn't a Mother. Mothers don't do such evil things to their children. Poor little boy....
It drives me apesh*t that people who, as you've described, WANT to make a living aren't able to because of people who don't pay what they owe (i.e., the trucking company, people who live on borrowed money, etc.).
I thought same thing about NASCAR, not an Edwards or Stewart fan, but Tony has been owning it. 4 Wins possibility of 5 out of 10 in Chase and no championship. Consistency is a high value item week in and week out in NASCAR. But they but more value on wins in Regular season, how about when it counts. 1 Extra point for win. At least it would be tied now. But not enough for a bad day to ruin whole chase, you can recover from on sub top ten finish but no way 2.
