* What a beautiful morning to be alive in the great state of Texas. A cool 40 degrees on the drive over.
* Happy Veterans Day. I salute, Papa Harold, Big Dude, Jarhead and the many others that have fought for my freedom. I thank you.
* Tomorrow we celebrate Madisons first birthday at our house. Wow this year has flew by fast. It just seems like yesterday that we were waiting in the hospital for her arrival.
* I followed breaking news yesterday about the Kyle Busch saga. News finally officially broke around 10pm last night. M&Ms dropped his sponsorship for the rest of the 2011 season and Interstate Batteries immediately picked him up for the remainder of the season. It has yet to be determined whether M&M/Mars will be involved in the sponsorship next year.
* I hope that saga is over and we can concentrate on Tony Stewart winning the championship.
* Speaking of champions!!! The Decatur Eagles went 10-0 for the season and tonight the start the first round of playoffs playing against Kennedale at Saginaw stadium. There are those of you that say they played mediocre teams all year. If they did, they did it with ferocity and good playing and coaching. After watching the team this year, only missing a few games, it is my opinion that they are playing as a "TEAM". After a few devastating injuries early in the year, other players stepped up to the challenge and met the expectations that were placed on them. The coaches have stuck to their game plans and that has helped to develop a system that the players have learned and all know how to execute well.
* It's the playoffs now. Tonight will tell the tale of whether they are a mediocre team that floated through the season, or a team that has stepped up to the challenge and will go deep into the playoffs.
* The 24 hour bug that everyone has been spreading around has just about hit everyone in our immediate family. Papa Harold had it yesterday. I haven't checked on him yet this morning.
* My cousins father passed away night before last around 11pm. His funeral will be Monday morning at 10:30am at the Methodist Church in Chico TX. Keep them in your prayers please.
* W-mom has been in Iowa with my sister for the last two weeks. They spent last night in Wichita Kansas and are now back on the road headed home. They should arrive here sometime late this evening.
* The rig hands and I watched some deer playing in the woods next to us this morning. Peaceful.....
* Facebook is getting to full of drama and advertisements. I follow a person that goes to a Christian FB site EVERY day and posts these wall pictures/posters. EVERYDAY, over and over and over and over and over. I get it, your a christian and you love God. Everyone else gets it. You taught me in Sunday School for years. It's ok to express that you love God and I am fully aware of that. Start a blog or write a book. Don't bog down Facebook with posters, games, and advertisements that are copied and pasted from another page.
* You can follow me on Twitter @firetaz. Go ahead, you will love it.
* Twitter takes some getting used to, but if nothing else, it's a great way to keep up with breaking news.
*Ryan Bingham and The Dead Horses are playing Winstar November 25th. We will be in Austin that morning. Could it be possible that we could make that? I hope so.
* How is this possible?
* Don't give up now. We can do this. It was just a brain fart, nothing more.
* Be careful who you flip off people.
* I told you Twitter was fun.
* Unbelievable!
* I gotta get to work. Have a great weekend, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Good Luck tonight!!
We lost against Cedar Park, as I thought we would... 55-26... ouch... it was a great game though...
Tonight we are headed to Brenham for the Brenham v Kingwood Park game...
After this round we'll check brackets and figure out where we want to go next week :)
FB - I have many of the same issues... people posting picture after picture, signs, bulletins, etc... seems like many have gotten away from the "status" updates... not near as fun anymore...
With my Twitter account it's been slow going building up again... hate that my last one was hacked and had to start over... boo!
If y'all have free time when in Austin, give a holler... we'll be here for the holiday
Wonder how many psycho letters Mschief will send out to that guy's followers? Oh blazes, gotta run. Propagandist is calling me.
"Hi Kimberley. Whats up? Oh sorry, I mean: hi Propagandist, what's up man? What are you so pissed about? Oh sorry, hi Rage. I get confused. What? Did I hear what? Dam. Fine. Hi Mschief."
I agree. Leave KB behind and concentrate on, " Go Smoke."
Big Dude appreciated the thanks as a veteran. Hoping for safe travel for your mother & Harold. Also hoping that Decatur wins tonight. I don't think that pic of a baseball player could possibly be you. Are you pulling a fast one? Mo
