The Real Thing?

This is supposedly a picture taken of the threat as was written. Click on it to enlarge. Our son is safe and will return back to school at 2:15pm. W-spouse has been in constant contact with him throughout the situation.

I picked up Cole, broken ankle and all, DHS folks did NOT have a sense of panic and were organized. As we were leaving I spoke to an official and was informed that the building was clear and students would return soon.
A big THANK YOU to DHS, DPD, and DFD for protecting our students. Even though it was a false alarm it was a good drill for them. It's so easy to become complacent about the world around you. Being aware of your surroundings and taking threats seriously is what we are teaching them, apparently they listened!

sounds as if things went really well... w-spouse is absolutely right! we find that many in our district are very complacent when it comes to these sorts of things... all threats have to be perceived as real until proven otherwise...

in my job, we try to ensure that students and staff do the drills and now how to respond in a safe manner to these things...

fun stuff man!

Wendell, cant believe that you are supporting Perry. Especially after your rant about the use of nigger word. Perry was hunting at a lease with that plastered all over it.. Which side of the fence you gonna stand on???

He wasn't at a hunting lease, it was property that his family owned that they hunted on(to the best of my knowledge). The N word wasn't painted on the rock, but the word "Niggerhead" was. It was used in refrence to some rock or place on the property. You are correct in saying that Perry was there at the property, but you are not correct in your assumption that he painted the words there, or that he endorsed it in any way. I wil stick with my Perry logo for the time being. Thanks for being so concerned about my political choices. Like it's going to ward of world hunger or something.

Can you explain how you have a photo of potential felony evidence...and have it posted on your blog before the end of the school day?

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

Will you anonymous posters get off Wendell's back? If you going to call him out over a perceived misstep at least have the guts to identify yourself. Otherwise, shut the he** up!

So when someone has a car wreck and the Messenger runs out there and takes photos of the scene, which could possibly be...say a potential DWI driver killing someone, and then posts it in the local paper...thats illegal?

The photo in question that I received via text was spread throughout Wise County by 2pm today.

Hence the question mark. I have no idea if its real or not. How do you know that it is real?
