Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* 43 degrees on the drive over this morning. But what a beautiful morning.
* Yesterday I purchased FRC winter clothing after we had lunch in Justin. $565.37 for a coat and a pair of coveralls. Absolutley ridiculous.
* I went home early yesterday and piled into bed. I have a cold/sinus infection/allergies/I don't have a clue, but I felt like crap. Last night was no better. This morning, I feel a lot better but now I'm coughing. UGGHHHH
* We moved to a different location this morning, and I was the first one to get there. When I arrived there were 6 deer running around in the pasture near us. One of them was a little buck with a small 4-6 point rack. I was close enough to see that is was perfectly symetrical, but very small, maybe an eight inch spread. I watched them for 10 minutes before all the other equipment started showing up and scared them away.
* We had a technician scheduled to change a bracket out on one of our chairs this morning. They were SUPPOSED to call before arrival. W-spouse called me and said that he was sitting in the driveway waiting on someone. I had to call Papa Harold out to run over there and let him in. CHEERS to Papa Harold, JEERS to the technician for not calling.
* Update on yesterdays story. The co-worker is back at work today. He's not at full speed, but he feels better and isn't running any fever. The neighbor that had the wreck came over last night. She is shook up, but isn't injured. A little sore and upset that her car is wrecked. The other person could not provide proof of insurance. Bummer.
* It's a long read, but you might want to take a look at this. I challenge you to apply this to your life. I am, starting today.
* Attention retirees, your getting a raise!
* If you wake up this morning and step out on the porch and a Lion is laying there, here is why.
* NASCAR fans asked to help find the missing baby.
* I don't think he stands a chance. He would have to finish 7 places higher than Carl Edwards in the last five races just to overcome him. Not likely.
* Time for me to make a dollar, see ya Around The Corner!
