From The Corner Of My Mind

* Another beautiful day today.
* Yesterday started out rainy and ended with a beautiful sunset.
* At our house the vantage point of the sunset is hidden. So when I do get to catch a sunset disappearing over in the West, I try to catch all the details.
* Lake Bridgeport has risen over a foot during these rains the last few days. A friend of mine told me that the river at Maryetta(sp) is running bank full.
* I like sending special surprise gifts to people. Especially my fellow bloggers. It warms my heart and soul. Recently, my daughter got married as you know and some of my blogger friends sent her gifts. My daughter doesn't realize it yet, but friendships like that last forever. I am so blessed to have friends with such generous hearts.
* W-spouse had both of the grand kids yesterday. Ava left around 8pm and Madi went home when her mother got off work about 9pm. W-spouse was exhausted. She stated to me later "Little kids are for young people".
* Madi wouldn't go down for a nap with Ava there, so naturally when I got home I placed her in my lap, kicked back in the recliner, turned on some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and her and I done some snoozing.
* The Mickey Mouse hot dog song is currently all the rage at our house when the grand babies are over. try getting that out of your head today.
* I would be willing to bet that our Christmas will be filled with items from the Mickey Mouse section.
* The location we are on is surrounded by houses. There are noise barriers totally surrounding our location we can't see out, and they can't see in. I have been using an Internet signal off of someones open router the last few days. It's a better signal than I receive from my Wifi hot spot on my phone. This morning when I connected to it, it immediately directed me to a website that was telling me that my service was discontinued for non-payment. Come on people, pay your bill so I can borrow your service again please.
* Or steal it, like some of you are already thinking.
* Yeah, I watched the last inning of the Ranger game last night. Pitch-foul-pitch-strike-pitch-foul-pitch-ball-pitch-duck-pitch-strike......can you say "BORING"?  And you people think watching cars go around in circles at 190mph is boring? Come on.....Anyway, the Rangers won. One more win for them and I will start watching the whole game.
* I hope they find out that I'm a long lost relative.
* I have a friend that whose Blackberry acted up yesterday.
* They don't mention it on this website but yesterday Apple had to shut its servers down because of the massive overload of the system with people trying to download the new I-5 updates.
* W-spouse and I will need to try to update in the next few days. There is also an ITunes update available that we all need to download.
* "Been there, done that" . Can't speak for my partner though. She will probably chime in on that!
