From The Corner Of My Mind

* It is a beautiful morning to be out and about in Texas.
* I'm glad that I am working, but it would have been such a joy to be out on the sidewalk, down by the lake with my wife this morning having a cup of coffee.
* I am so blessed to have a wonderful job that I enjoy, and good people to work with everyday.
* RBS and I debated the Tony Stewart thing in the comments yesterday. I wasn't trying to win, I just wanted the facts. My friends and I, all of which are Tony Stewart fans, were in shock that towards the end of the race when they all went to the pits, that he had lost 7 positions and none of us could explain why. And of course all the announcers could talk about was Jimmy Johnson so they held no explanation.
* JJ, I have the tank on my mind. I don't know when I can get it, but I will.
* Mr. Answers, your obedience to the Spirit makes such and impact on Whitney and I, and many others also. Just so you know, we love ya guy!
* The video of the antelope hitting the guy on the mountain bike was posted everywhere yesterday. If you didn't see it, take a look. It's wild.
* Brad Pitt, the gun smuggler!
* I always wanted to find a lost treasure. I feel your odds in the ocean are much better than on land.
* No, not the Golden Triangle Mall.
* Some may think this stupid, but I think it's a great idea.
* May I have two please.
* Good grief, enough said.
* Ok OK, I will mention them. The Rangers won last night in a record breaking game. Apparently one of the Rangers hit a "Walk On/Off Grand Slam" to win the game in extra innings last night. I know what a grand slam is, but no clue what a walk on/off grand slam is. Please explain.
* I will start watching the games when they make the world series. Until then, they interest me about as much as NASCAR does you.
* Have a wonderful day, see ya Around The Corner!

That game was awesome! The stadium exploaded when he hit that ball.

Walk off Grand Slam- The grand slam is hit by the home team (becaue they always bat last) in the final inning of the game. It has to give them the lead and end the game, leaving the inning unfinished but both teams walk off the field because the home team has won.

The tank is waiting for you WW. Its not gonna go any place. But when you make it in to a spectacular grill and smoker, we better be invited to its first party!

We had to google walk off grand slam. I thought it was when Dennys did not get your breakfast right, and you walk off without paying. ;-)

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

Thanks for your kind words but I think I get more from you and Whitney than you get from me.

Yeesh, the Ranger game was all over the place last night. I'm like Jar though -- why watch it when I can read the Twitter/FB updates? lol And man, there were a ton of 'em!

That Brad Pitt story...oh my! And I'd take a pod too.

Have a good day,

The "Other Kathy" ;-)

It's all about the Amish, people! Seroiusly, the Godfather of the group didn't order the beard cutting, but he didn't tell his scissor men not too either. Wow, he could run for office.
