* It was a beautiful day yesterday outside. A little windy, but nice all day.
* Reading comments on Facebook, and on LL blog yesterday during the bomb scare at DHS led me to the conclusion that some people will believe anything. Now don't get me wrong, I fully understand the seriousness of the situation and don't downplay it at all, but you can't believe everything you hear or read.
* Some people WILL NOT understand that last bullet point.
* Under one post on Facebook there were 59 comments in less than 2 hours and the comments ranged from possible smoke in the building to 4 bombs had been found with live detonators.
* I posted on my blog a picture that was thought to be the threat as it was written. It could have also been something that someone wrote on their bathroom wall and took a picture of it, then sent it out so that people would believe it to be real. Again I say, don't believe everything.
* The blog King referenced it. He didn't reference it by name though. What a pompous ass. :-)
* I took a short time last night and this morning to read up on Steve Jobs. Wow, what an incredible man. What an incredible life. I have heard the words this morning "He changed the world". I agree.
* I want to give a shout out to a new business in our area. Kasner Marine Tech. I found Matt Kasner through a Facebook listing and had him take a look at our boat. What was quoted to me through two different local shops as a job that would start at nearly $5000, he did for $2243. Not only did he fix it for less money, he fixed it right and took it to the lake himself and test drove it. He also winterized it for that price. With work this crucial comes a warranty. He and I discussed the fact that we wouldn't be able to use the boat anymore till next summer, so he is going to start the warranty when I put the boat in the water for the first time next year.He also picked up and delivered the boat to our home. If you need any marine work done, leave me a comment and I will get you his number.
* I need to get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

So relieved that there wasn't a bomb at the school. Great news about your boat & Kasner Marine. Mo
I wish I could find a mechanic to work on the jalopy with that kind of work ethic, honesty, and customer service. Man. Very cool
BG wouldn't do anything (i.e. give you credit) that might detract from his God...err...I mean his Blog.
I like the shout out, it's good to support local business. Can't wait til next summer to take the gbabbies lakin!
Live you
Windy days- one of the few things in this life that can throw me into a bad mood.
I'm glad you introduced the Firestone quote to me- I intend to repeat it to my children.
I have never, EVER found a truly reputable boat repair place. They are so seasonal the temptation is to to take you for everything they can while they can- so they do.
Ah, to be in good company....:) Integrity, credit where it's due, and the strength of character to know what that entails...
What a dreadful mess at the school.
