The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* There could be a change in the weather coming our way. Today it's going to be hot again though.
* That was a fast weekend. Worked late on Friday. I didn't get off early like I wanted to on Friday. We were shorthanded all last week.
* W-spouse and I made the scrimmage and after it was over we went and cleaned the truck up for the trip and grabbed supper. We packed when we got home and got into bed around 2am.
* Up and running at 6am Saturday and making our way to Austin. After W-spouse dozed off I made good time. We pulled into my B-in-laws house over by Lake Travis in 3 hours and 47 minutes.
* W-spouse and S-in-law went shopping and we had lunch and quickly made our way back to Round Rock to the inlaws house. We visited for 30 minutes and got ready to go downtown.
* At 7pm we were at the Headliners Club celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary. There were 22 people attending, along with our twon grandchildren. It was so nice having them both there with their mothers, and watching them interact and play together. The facilities were magnificent and the dinner was great. The room was just large enough for everyone, but just small enough to keep everyone visiting with each other. The views of downtown Austin and the Capitol were spectacular, especially so when it got dark.. The party was a huge success and everyone seemed to enjoy everything.
* Around 10:30PM we made our way back to the house and collapsed in bed.
* We got up Sunday morning and visited with everyone and Mom, Papa, Madi and the girls stopped by on their way home to visit and see the inlaws house. We pulled out around 1pm and only stopped once at West to grab a few snacks. We pulled back into our house at 4:30pm and unloaded everything.
* I caught up on all the racing over the weekend after getting everything in order. Great truck race even though Kevin Harvick snuck in a win. That was a hard wreck there at the end. Marcus Ambrose pulled off a road course win in Canada in the Nationwide series, his second major win in as many weeks.
* On to the Sprint cup race. Who won? That would be Kyle Busch. That would be the current points leader. That would be the most consistent driver in NASCAR. That would be, as quoted by NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip, "The most talented driver that I have ever raced with or seen drive in Sprint Cup racing". Rememeber, I didn't say that, just someone with quite possibly a lot more knowledge in NASCAR racing as I do.
* Like it or not, he's good and will continue to be good for a long time to come.
* We are moving to a different well location theis morning so I need to get to work.
* Have a great Monday, see ya Around The Corner!

Especially with this drought... :( Keep up the GREAT work, my friend. So enjoy keeping up with Tiffany and her family on FB. See YOU around the corner! ;)

Loved having you & all the family here to help us celebrate. W, I am blown away at your thoughtfulness & generosity just out of the goodness of your heart & for no other reason. Saying thank you falls short of how much it meant to me, but thank you, thank you. Mo
