* Yep, hot again. At 7:15 pm on the way home yesterday, my temperature gauge showed 104.
* The sand that is flowing out of this well we are working on is washing out everything. If I were to guess, I would say that we have ruined about 10K in equipment on this one well already.
* One of the guys that we go to church with called and checked on me yesterday. He was worried about me working out in this heat. That was nice on his part. He used to be out here and now has an office job. I wouldn't trade jobs with him though. He is a dispatcher at a trucking company and he deals with a lot of whining.
* Ava Grace was visiting last night when I got home from work. There is nothing that makes working all day out in the heat better than to come home to the grand kids playing with the toys, laughing and having a great time with Gran!
* Ava loves the little electric drum that I picked out. She carries it around and beats on it and just giggles. W-spouse is jealous because she basically ignores the toys she picked out.
* I've been having some sort of pain in my hip shooting down my left leg. It's not any better today, but I won't mention that so that a certain commenter won't say that I am whining.
* Yesterday I also got a call from a long lost blog friend. Haven't heard from her in a few months. It was nice catching up with her and looks like she will probably be back to blogging in a few months. An amazing twist of events have occurred that will allow her the freedom to share her thoughts once again without limits.
* If there is one thing that I have learned from the blogging experience it is that some people can only say things and accuse others under a veil of secrecy and anonymity. Then, when it comes time to stand before your peers and voice the very same opinions that you spewed forth in secrecy, they tuck tail and run.
* Yesterday I received this comment "Typical. Let your women fight your battles. Point Made." This commenter is trying to get a response back from me. So I could say "Meet me somewhere of your choosing and I will fight my own battle. I don't need anyone to fight them for me." The commenter would never show up because he/she /it is probably a spineless coward to begin with. Commenter, I say this to you "Meet me somewhere over coffee, I will show/teach you the truth, and show you the light. It won't be with fists, guns or knives. I will show you the powerful truth of Jesus Christ and once that it is revealed to you, I assure you that your need to hide behind a curtain and chastise others will disappear. You will be so richly rewarded that you will use that knowledge to reach others and spread that word." I will borrow your last few words and respond back to you for the last time........POINT MADE!
* I hope you have as blessed of a day as I will, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

Ugh, this heat is brutal, and I worry about the people who work outside. We should all agree in prayer for some rain, to help cool everything off. Be careful out there, and drink lots of water!
As for your pain, try visiting a chiropractor, Dr Tate in Boyd, is wonderful. Sounds like you may have a pinched nerve or something. I hope you get to feeling better!

Honey what you don't realize is that Ava had already played with the toys I picked out by the time you got home! Lol
Good response, brother. You're more mature than I am.
Dr. Tom Rawle in Decatur is a life saver!!!! Been visiting myself this week!
Does that Anorbiter is coming back I really miss her blog, refreshing like yours.
Great response to commenter. However you could upgrade 'point' to the more with it form, ' pointe'.
Seriously, for your back: lie face up on the floor and try to flex your pelvis toward the ceiling about thirty times to start with. Going to the DC is also good advice. Mine is a genius!
Hope you are feeling better soon! Great response too! Try to stay cool today!
Hey Cuz..You're a bigger man than me. So if your talk doesn't work then can I talk to them..LOL Just Saying...I have a certain way with some people when it comes to getting a point across LOL Must have something to do with my job experience...Love Ya Bro
Lay on your back and flex your pelvis up and down? Cmon! Am I the only one that sees the humor in this?
Why are so many people who respond named Anonymous?
To Anonymous 3:48.
You can't flex up AND down. The downward move would be an extension.
Also it is LIE on your back.
