* Hot again. Temperature is supposed to be in the upper 90s this weekend though.
* Sounds like we are going to have a house full of people this weekend at the lakehouse. Our lakehouse has been remodeled and is nearly twice the size that it used to be when my girls were born. Back then it was the norm to sleep sometimes 20 people in the house and on the back porch. Now everyone(including myself) is accustomed to sleeping in the AC. I don't know if I could sleep on the back porch with a fan in this heat anymore.
* W-spouse and I have called dibs on the camper. We will have our own little place to go sleep and get under the AC.
* It's going to be a full paced weekend. Breakfast, lunch and supper with all the families on Saturday and Sunday. On the 4th Papa Harold cooks hamburgers for everyone. Jarrod and I are cooking Fajitas for everyone for the noon lunch on Sunday.
* Sometimes I pronounce fajita as frajita. W-spouse usually corrects me and gives me that "raised eyebrow" look.
* I have been watching my diabetes close this week so that this weekend I can be really bad. I'm looking forward to that.
* W-spouse makes a sugar free banana pudding that is marvelous. She uses sugar free vanilla wafers and sugar free cool whip and sugar free pudding. It usually is gone after one meal. No one is the wiser that it is totally sugar free.
* ATTENTION RATHERBESAILING......You and the spouse are welcome out for burgers on Monday. Would love to see you if you don't have plans.
* We lost a lot of music when our PC crashed or got hit by lightning. It's hard to put a monetary value on it, but I would guess $300-$500. Some of it was file shared off the internet using various sources such as Limewire when it was free. If I downloaded some of it without paying for it, did I even own it? Some of the music was classic rock, country, disco and other genres that in the past had been purchased in the form of 8 track, albums, cassettes and cds. Having already purchased the music in some form in the past, I don't personally feel like file sharing that music is stealing. Opinions?
* I lost an entire collection of Kenny Rogers 8 track tapes in front of the old Corner Drug store in downtown Bridgeport in the 80s. Someone needed them worse than I did. What made me mad was that I had just purchased a Micheal Jackson Off The Wall 8 track and they stole it also. I would listen to "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" over and over and over. I wore out the first one that I bought, and had to buy another.
* Don't deny it, I know you listened to it also.
* We used to frequent a bar in Nacogdoches when I was a senior in high school called Snoopys. Disco Thursday nights, country on Friday nights and live bands on Saturday nights. Dancing to disco on Thursday nights was my when I shined. Under the flashing, spinning ball......ahhhhh memories.
* There doesn't need to be ANY comments made toward any of the last 4 bullet points. Especially me dancing to any disco music.
* Got to go to work, see ya Around The Corner!

But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Ok, so I won't comment then. *giggle*
I love disco and like to dance to it was a good era
If you like disco/70's/80's music you need to go see LeFreak band! They put on a really good show!
DH, we have seen them at the Glass Cactus one night. Had a blast!
Us too! They are so much fun! And I say this as an early 30 yr old! :D
Ok, fajitas on Sunday...I hope you get the meat from the meat market across from Diamond! They have the best fajita meat ever! :)
We are doing fajitas Saturday before the firework show. Watching it from dry land this year. :(
Hope you guys have a great weekend. We will be on the other side of the bridge. :)
Chele, some real good friends of ours are staying over there this weekend also. They are in a pop-up camper and driving a blue chevy pick up. Troylene and Billy. If you see them, stop by and say hi and tell them hello for me. They left me a message earlier saying that they are already out there. Have a great weekend also!
And I must say...it is the best banana pudding in the world :)
File sharing music IS stealing. Ask one of the artist's whose music you have been "sharing" how they feel about it. In fact, go to limewire.com and see the statement about the injunction they are under.
Thanks for the invitation. I remember how good the food is at the reunion......also the 42 games.
Our son in law is treating us this 4th so we regretfully decline.
I, uh, didn't care for disco, but DH and Janneba are correct, LeFreak rocks.
They played in my town before a Class Cactus engagement a while back. Daughter forced me to go (and take the dog, too).
Really enjoyed Play That Funky Music and the Journey sing-along.
Oh, I am sure that you have never downloaded a song before in your life???
