Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Yesterday was hot. I pray that this is just a spell we are going through and July/August it's going to be in the 80s and 90s all month. Yeah right.....
* If you want to laugh out loud, go back and read the comments from the last few days. There is a MORON in our midst.
* If there is one thing that the internet provides us via blogging and commentors is the fact that their are a lot of people in this world with a lot of built up aggression that are just to scared to face things in real life so they hide behind a wall and spew their filth so that they will feel better about themselves. What a tragedy to have such creative writing skills and waste it.
* Last night I finished watching the last episode of 6 Feet Under on the HBO GO app. It was 5 seasons long and 12-13 episodes per season. It took me nearly a month to watch them all. I think that I will start the Sopranos and watch it all the way through.
* W-spouse was running all around the house last night and calling all the kids preparing things for our vacation. I was tired just watching her. I was long gone by the time she came to bed.
* If it works out, tonight we get to keep Madison for  a while. I have not got to see her in a few days.
* Dumb Canadians!
* Honey, is that your toe?
* Oh, surely not!
* Stay in the shade and drink plenty of Gatorade today, see ya Around The Corner!

blogging and/or commenting is kind of like washing your car...it's therapeutic.

I am Canadian and I can assure you that what happened in Vancouver is in no way a direct reflection of the attitude or actions of our countrymen as a whole. Pls refrain from showing your ignorance by classifying all of us as "Dumb".

Your anon "moron" sounds more like a bored teenager with nothing else to do with their summer...

Now honey, Canadians aren't all dumb, just the ones who participated in Stanley Cup debacle. Some of them are quite funny.

And America apologizes to Canada for our chief dipshiate, Jarhead. That boy has some serious psycho problems.

Is that "your" or "you're" ..... says the Big Chief!

You have no idea, 2:56.

"Chief," huh? Well, you gotta be good at something. No apologies necessary.

Meanies will always choke on their Cap'n Crunch anyway. Broken smiles will do that every time.

And I admire how you don't "just take it." That's for people without backbone or spitfire. Dignify! ;-)
