* It's going to be another hot day. Head out on the lake because the winds will be light today......maybe.
* NASCAR laid down a fine of $150,000 and probation till the end of the calendar year to Richard Childress for his part in the altercation between him and Kyle Busch. Word from a confirmed source in the garage was that he calmly took off his watch, walked over to KB and put him in a headlock and went to wailing on his head Nolan Ryan style.
* I really thought that they would suspend him for one race. I was wrong. Given his tenure in our sport, his contributions and his losses, it was probably the right call.
* I said I was over the ticket thing. I'm still upset over it and the events over the last few months that have fueled my anger concerning my Son-in-laws situation. I have handed it over to God this morning, something I should have done long ago.
* W-spouse is through with her training in her new position and started doing cases by herself yesterday. Her knee is doing a lot better so far and overall she is feeling better in the last two weeks. She and I spent some much needed quality time together on the lake Saturday just riding around in the boat and stopping and swimming together. Sometimes her and I getting to be alone together comes about as often as earthquakes in Wise County.
* I had to delete and censor two comments yesterday. One was directed towards Jar, the other towards me. Sign your name coward and I will gladly post the comments. One more thing, if you want to use the "N" word, go over to Barrys blog, he will gladly let it pass.
* I shouldn't have even acknowledged that, but I did.
* I am more than likely starting a job tomorrow that should hold me till I go on vacation in two weeks. That's a good thing.
* Yep, two weeks and we will be sitting by the river enjoying the sights and sounds of the Texas Hill Country.
* W-stepsons truck is in the repair shop getting all the body work fixed. W-spouse is driving the rent car. A Ford Focus. That is a far cry from her Texas Edition GMC that she usually sports around in. She looks cute in the Focus though, and if you see her, remind her of that for me.

BOO to Nascar for that fine!!! But how classic is it for a 65 yr old grandpa to take off his wrist watch, hand it to his grandson(Austin Dillon) and commence to kicking some young punks ass?!? old age and treachery will beat out youth and enthusiam every time!!! As much as i can't stand kh...richard childress is the man. Is it just me or does it seem nascar is going back to the dirt track racing roots with fights almost every weekend?!? I LOVE IT!!!
Honey, really ... Ford Focus and cute in the same sentance? We might have to go to the lake this evening. Be careful out there, location incidents seem to be increasing. I realized that might be in proportion to the number of wells in our area too.

I think NASCAR HAD to do something. I feel it was a very light fine honestly. As much as I hate KH, I do think very highly of RC.
The truck is getting repaired at Karl Klement. Our insurance gave us the choice of KK or James Woods. I chose KK.
