The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

The Wspouse Perspective
So those of us who made it to the campsite yesterday got to visit and enjoy some cold beverages, ribs, steaks, and sausages mm mm good! All good times must come to an end... I've got no problem being the first one to go to bed, the only thing about that is those who don't realize they should, start giving you ALL the reasons you shouldn't. So one just has to be a brave soldier and just do it! Like a Nike. The beauty of it is once your head hits the pillow you are oblivious to the antics of those still up and about. And, being the first one to bed you are the first one up in the morning! With a smile, just looking for a cup of coffee not Ibuprofen or Tylenol. "The boys" still full of piss and vinegar in the AM started the antics with calling on the intercom on the bus, testing 1 2 3, sound check! Then put the cooler in front of the door. Did I mention I am describing a way over 40 crowd! I think they are suffering from Peterpan Syndrome, never grow up!

EDIT; Just so you know, it wouldn't be any fun at the races if the "The boys" weren't the boys. And, there would be no good stories to tell! They make me LOL!

i used to cook on the salt grass trailride... i don't know what i was thinking other than it is decent money...

i don't drink or party into the wee hours and even if i did... i had to get up and start breakfast for 40 at 3 AM... that's a lot of egg cracking!

they used to put the sound speakers against my sleeping quarters when i went to bed, they were so considerate... they would bang and call my name and pick pick pick...

but those were some of the best days! i miss the riders!

have fun!! you'll have a good stories to tell and a fabulous tan too when you get home!
