The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* It was 62 degrees on the drive over East this morning. Rain is in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
* We went over and checked on W-mom yesterday evening and W-spouse gave her a leg massage. She is still having some pain in her legs, but the doctor told her this was normal after messing around on the nerves in her back. Hopefully this will subside soon.
* While she was doing that, I installed a ceiling fan in Madisons room that had quit working.
* Manufactures of ceiling fans have made that a simple job. 10 years ago it took and hour to install a fan. Now it takes 15 minutes.
* Mr Answers. That was a funny response below. I was giggling while checking my email and W-spouse asked what I was laughing about. I said "Oh just something Bill commented on the blog about." She said "go figure." She knows you all to well.
* At least during a NASCAR race you don't see maxi pad commercials like you do during basketball and football games.
* Although that would seem to be and endless sponsor support for Danica if she could swing it.
* Do you think the West Nile craze is just that, a craze? Or do you think it warrants this much attention? If so, would you be willing to pay $25 a year more in taxes to support a program to battle the mosquitoes and virus in the future?
* For all my IFriends. You will need to download this app in the near future to watch YouTube videos. You don't have too, but you will be able to get ALL the content if I'm reading this correctly.
* The release of the IPhone5 is expected this week. I'm all giddy about that. I probably won't get one immediately, but you can count on it in the very near future.
* While your at it, check out those videos over on my YouTube channel on the right. Like and comment if you want too!!
* W-mom and Papa Harold are catching right on to the IPhone. Yesterday I introduced them to Siri and how easy it is to have her set a reminder or set your alarm. I don't use that function near as much as I should.
* This morning while fueling up, a gentleman walked up to me and told me that he reads my blog and that he enjoys following along. I appreciate when people do that.
* I carry cash with me most of the time, along with my debit card, a fleet fuel card and one credit card. I know a few people that carry absolutely no cash. They strictly use their credit or debit cards. I guess I'm so old school that I fear the system crash and not be able to use the card.
* I once purchased pizza for the lunch for all the guys on location. The place where I ordered the pizza is in Krum. At that time, they didn't accept credit or debit cards. I scrounged around in my change in my truck till I finally found enough money to pay for it all.
* While on a trip on the motorcycles to Sturgis we were riding in the Black Hills in the middle of no where and were running low on fuel. We came upon a filling station where the price of gas was about a $1.00 more a gallon than it should have been and they didn't accept credit cards either. I had cash, and one of the guys with us didn't.
* I suppose I'm one of those "You never know" types, so I carry some cash.
* I probably get that from Papa Harold. He's one of the most "prepared to go anywhere" type people I know.
* I really hate to say this, but today should be an easy day for me. I probably just jinxed myself.
* Have a blessed day friends, see ya Around The Corner!

Are you kidding me? Kotex would be a perfect sponsor for NASCAR. According to you, it shouldn't be restricted to Danica but should be good for Jeff Gordon too. Again, won't work for real sports because of the mascot problem.

I think it's very cool that so many people randomly stop you about your blog. =) People like you, Mr. Corner. I get it. You're pretty damn cool. And a good Friend.

Hi, Vicki! =)

The West Nile Virus is not a craze. It is Viral Encephalitis & has killed a lot of people this year. It affects the brain & has many other side effects. Mo
