* Another beautiful morning in North Texas.
* The well we are working on is giving us fits. It may cause us to have to start around the clock tonight. It will all depend on what we get accomplished today.
* I just had someone refer to me as "Around The Corner". Totally unexpected.
* Another thing, yesterday W-spouse sent me a text from the friends we met at the races that live in Corpus. Seems when they got home and went back to work, they mentioned that they had met us. Someone that they were talking to said that they knew me because they kept up with my blog.
* I tell ya folks, someday I'm gonna be famous!
* With my grammar and spelling, I doubt it.
* The area we are working in (near Ponder) has a great phone signal. 4 bars and 4G (I know, you don't get 4G with an IPhone4), but usually around noon, the internet signal just stops. Right now it has a very fast download speed. Later today it will be disappear. Strange.
* W-stepson tried to mow yesterday when he got home. The tire that we had aired up numerous times on the mower finally blew out. When I got home I sent him to Tractor Supply and we got 2 brand new tires. He got a lesson in removing the tire from the rim, and installing them back. Wee couldn't get the bead to seat back with the limited air pressure, so I showed him the trick of using ether. If you don't know, you don't want to. He thought that was cool though.
* Zero turn lawn mowers were a great invention.
* We ate at the Panda Buffet last night. I like their food. We saw some of our Wise County EMS friends there and I bought their supper. Those folks don't get paid near enough for what they do for us.
* The wreck that happened earlier in the week that killed those two young children was horrific. Watching the news last night and they showed exactly where it happened at. They stopped right in the exit lane to the next street. It was a dark colored car. They had no flashers on. The two children that got killed were not restrained. Correcting any one of those four things could have drastically changed the outcome of that accident.
* When I was on the Fire Department, I helped rescue one of my best friends (he was also a member of our department) kids, and his wife from an accident. It was a bad wreck in a bad place on the roadway. Thankfully both recovered and are alive and well today. Some things you just never forget though.
* I don't know if I ever mentioned this, but I had to also be extricated from a wrecked vehicle by members of my own department. I had a coughing spell and blacked out in the city limits of Bridgeport and hit a parked vehicle and then hit a tree. Head on. Dead center. I wasn't wearing a seat belt and when I hit the parked truck the air bag deployed, then when I hit the tree it had lost air so I hit the steering wheel and the windshield. I have a scar on the side of my chin to prove it. I caught heck about that for weeks. Not to mention I totaled the best vehicle I had ever had prior to that date.
* I gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

When you go out due to coughing it is called, "fainting."
Not quite as macho as, "blacking out."
