Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The weather is spectacular. I hope it stays that way throughout the race week and weekend.
* OK, I'm ready for all the house renovations to be over with. I want our house back to normal.
* Both of the bathrooms were painted yesterday. Today the tile work begins. Should be finished with everything by tomorrow if all goes as planned.
* A friend of mine/ours lost her dear grandmother in the last few days. Keep her in your prayers. Those who follow the blogs over to the right know her.
* It doesn't seem like that long ago when I lost my last living grandparent. Now I'm a grandparent.
* Life just passes right on. Fast.
* I'm/we are so excited to have the girls come over this weekend to hunt Easter eggs and play on the new grass. I went to Wallyworld and bought some plastic eggs. Those will be filled with Papa's stash money.
* I probably bought some candy eggs. I might have bought some chocolate bunnies. I might have got carried away on the candy aisle.
* Hey, that's what grandparents do.
* The location we have been on had real bad cell service, which in turn meant I had no internet. We've moved. Things are back to normal.
* Oh yeah, I've moved into the number one place in our NASCAR fantasy league. Yeehaa!
* It gets a lot tougher from here on out though. You can't pick the same driver twice in the first 13 races. I've used up my good picks. As bad as it pains me, Jeff Gordon may be my pick for TMS.
* No comments will be approved from Ratherbesailin towards that last post. :-)
* He has a really good record at Texas, and I DO want to remain in the lead. That would be the only reason. I won't root for him to win, but if he does, I would remain at the top.
* I am amazed that no one died during the tornado breakout on Tuesday. There was a lot of houses destroyed, and by the eyewitness accounts, there were many people in them when they were torn up. And no one died. Thanks God.
* This Sunday morning if you find yourself with nothing to do, or no one to do it with, come spend some time with us and the Lord at Central Fellowship at 10:30am. We will be having an Easter Morning Sunday service in 3-D
* I had to get into the attic early on Sunday morning and move a light over the table in the dining room. While up there, I breathed in some dust and insulation that has had my sinuses acting up ever since. Today is the first day that I have felt semi normal since Sunday. Normal for me is questionable anyway.
* W-mom and Papa H came by last night and inspected all the renovations at the house. W-mom would love to have granite in her kitchens at the house and lakehouse. Each time she would bring it up, Papa H would moan and groan.
* W-spouse doesn't like Reba McEntire. I do.
* W-spouse likes Etta James. I don't.
* We both like NASCAR though. Unless she's just saying that because she loves me so much.
* Ya'll have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!
