Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Sorry for the "No" blog posts. I'm in a crappy cell service area. I have reception right now, but maybe not before I get this posted.
* Those storms yesterday were crazy in the Metromess. It's amazing that no one was killed.
* Update on back yard: All the grass is laid and seems to be taking hold well. During one of the heavy down pours yesterday I watched the water drain off the porch and carport. Mission accomplished. Except....there is one spot in the yard that water stands and doesn't drain. Might have to make a change there, but all the water is moving AWAY from the house. So, success.
* The counter tops are installed in the kitchen and on both lavatories in the spare bathroom. All the faucets and drains are back in place except one. I am waiting on the painters to finish before installing it. The wallpaper is stripped in both bathrooms and both have been textured. Painting in the bathrooms ensues today. He will probably also paint the ceiling in the kitchen, hall and dining room today. The backsplash, tile on the floor and tile in the bathroom will probably get installed tomorrow and Friday.
* If all goes as planned, we should have our house back intact Friday. I will then have to hang 4 lights and install the one remaining faucet.
* This time next week we will be camping at TMS!
* Gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!
