Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

Videos I Just Watched

I clicked on a YouTube link to watch a video of the Monkeys. From there I listened to:

The Monkeys - Daydream Believer
The Monkeys - I'm a Believer
Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Are Made For Walking
Jethro Tull - The Letter
The Archies - Sugar Sugar
The Tokens - The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl
The Byrds - Do You Believe In Magic

Now that's a trip down memory lane. Whoa....wait a minute. I don't remember when all those came out, I just remember hearing them later down the road.
Now Mr. Answers and Ratherbesailing on the other hand, they would know!

Also, you need to respect your elders. I've met your mom and I know she taught you that. Dang whippersnapper!

Whew! That was close...thought for a second I was going to be labeled as an oldtimer...

Trivia note: John Stewart (Dave Guard's replacement in The Kingston Trio), composed Daydream Believer.

Stewart had a mild second wind in the late '70s, assisted by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, who'd learned to fingerpick guitar from listening to old TKT records.

Does that knowledge qualify me for the oldtimers' club?

You forgot to mention Al Jolson and Rudy Valle.

The older I get, the more stunning it is to hear of people dying young. The guy was YOUNG. Sad. I loved The Monkees as a kid.
