* It's a wet cold morning. Light rain has fallen on me since I walked out the door.
* I haven't checked my sources on this, but I borrowed it from a trusted source. 316 yards passing last night against the Steelers. 31.6 yards per completion,(a record) against the Steelers. 3:16 (his favorite Bible verse) written under his eyes during the 2009 college football title game. Tim Tebow led the underdog Denver Broncos to a win last night in overtime against the Steelers. A coincidence? I think not.
* We don't have the Jeep yet. The other party has seen the motorcycle and really likes it. The Jeep is in the shop getting a leak fixed on the transfer case. Maybe we will see it sometime this week. Honestly, this has tried my patience this weekend.
* I left the motorcycle trickle charger off Friday night. I tried to start it on Saturday and the battery was dead. I then took it to Denton to get a battery. $139 for a battery. UGGHH.
* While over there, the guy with the Jeep came and looked at the bike and took it for a test drive. It ran out of gas on him. He was less than a mile from being back to the HD shop. We took him some gas and it fired right back up.
* W-spouse named her bike "Trixie". Now the guy with the Jeep is a patched club member. His President and one other officer showed up with him to check the bike out. They all agreed that it was a great bike. Then W-spouse gets out and tells them that whatever he does, he can't change the name of the bike. When they all asked what it was, she told them and they all started rolling laughing and giving him crap about it. Can't you just see this 6'3" 250# guy walking up to the bar and announcing "Hey give me a drink, and my bikes name is Trixie." He will forever be harassed about that. First, running out of gas, then the bikes name.
* W-spouse was on call yesterday and got called in as we were getting ready for Church. She finally got home around 7pm last night.
* Our Bible class started out yesterday with an announcement that one of our members had a new Kindle Fire and challenged me and my IPad to sword drills.. He lost. IPads rule!
* I was approached during church yesterday about praying for someone this week. A specific request from a special person. That came right out of nowhere. Me? Pray for you? She is the one that I go to when I need a special request. Sometimes I don't give myself near as much credit as others do.
* If there were a ladder that God listened to prayers more for one person than others, she would be way higher on the ladder than I.
* We were challenged yesterday morning, I encourage you to do the same this week:
1. Give your heart to God.
2. Pray to filled with the Holy Spirit.
3. Walk, step, move, do. Take a step of faith.
* Less than a month before the NASCAR Sprint cup starts again. They will be practicing at Daytona this week actually. I'm excited to see how the changes they made in the grill opening and the water pressures affect the two car tandem packs. I hope it separates them. I'm not a fan of two car tandems.
* So far Kurt Busch still doesn't have a Sprint Cup ride for 2012. I can't say that I will miss him.
* Listened to some talk this morning about Kasey Khane and his crew chief joining the Hendrick stable. This will be his best opportunity for a Championship. He definitely has the talent, skills, and now the resources to do it.
* Time to get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

You big liar, you and your ipad got dusted at Bible class! I already had the scripture pulled up because I asked Monty where we were going to start before class. I'm pretty sure you can go to Hell for lying but not for cheating.
I still can't bring myself to take the iPad to church. Besides, I know I'd fall victim to playing Words With Friends during the sermon...;-)
The pastor at my church no longer comes onstage with a Bible - his sermon is loaded on his iPad, though he doesn't spend too much time behind the lectern/podium referencing it.
Ironically, the next sermon series is titled There's No App For That dealing with Fear, Guilt, Loneliness, Pain, Depression, & Hurt. Beginning Jan 14/15.
@ Donald, man, that's pretty good!
I had a chuckle reading about a new owner for Trixie. Let us know if you get the jeep. Mo
