From The Corner Of My Mind

* Another wet cold morning in the oilfield.
* Didn't hear from the guy with the Jeep yesterday. I need to have more patience.
* Last night W-spouse and I teamed up and cooked steaks on the grill, red potatoes, salad and garlic bread. That was the best meal I had eaten in weeks.
* A bottle of wine was shared during preparations.
* There is a skylight in our master bathroom right above W-spouses vanity. It started leaking and has done considerable damage to the ceiling and sheet rock.
* That bowl game last night wasn't very good. I wanted LSU to come back, just so it would be more exciting.
* LSU only crossed the 50 yard line one time. I don't suppose that I have ever watched a game where that happened.
* I went to sleep with about 5 minutes left and woke up when the Tide were celebrating.
* When I turn the volume up or down on the TV, I always try to leave it on an even number.
* The location we moved to this morning is holding a lot of water. It must have rained more near Ponder than over in Decatur.
* Lake Bridgeport is 12' low. I fear the gates will be opened again soon, even with the rain we have had.
* A friend tells me that there is only one boat ramp available at Possum Kingdom. He also says that they have had a lake house there for more than thirty years, and have never seen the water this low.
* I just listened to a Kevin Harvick interview on the Morning Drive. He's still a pompous ass, and a jerk.
* Of all the equipment that I have operated over the years, I enjoyed running a backhoe more than any other.
I ran a 992C while working at the rock crusher. I ran a 140H while working in the oilfield. I've operated numerous dozers and skid loaders also, but always liked running the back hoe the best.
* Have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!

I keep seeing pools of water in the strangest places....I guess it's been that long since we've had a good rain?

As I told you earlier, we had a skylight leak in our TC house. Husband decided he was going to fix it....'til he learned how hard it is to get a custom window piece, do the sealing, etc., and uh, get up there! =) He had to hire it out...we loved our skylights in that house. [sigh]. Miss 'em.

You've got me wondering about Jeep feedback too!!!
