Christmas With The Wiggins Family

As stated before, each year we play games or have a challenge for the kids at Christmas for prize money and awards. In the past they have played Wii Bowling, Bingo, Minute to Win It, put together puzzles etc. This year they had 30 minutes to create something with Play Doh. Anything of their choice, but the final product had to be just Play Doh. The final results were numbered so that only Whit and I knew who made each piece. The grand parents then came in and judged them on three things. Creativity, likeness and attention to detail. Colors did not matter. They all did a wonderful job and here are the results.

$150.00 1st place Crown for a King
Dee

$100.00 2nd place Fire Hydrant
Kyle

Tie for $50.00 3rd place Fighting Rooster
Travis

Tie for$50.00 3rd place Cherry Pie
Cole
The rest all got assorted gift cards
Snow man scene
Chelsi
 Tiffany
 Fire truck
Casey
Deven
 Wagon scene
Vicki

For a bonus W-spouse and I put together a game called "How well do you know your family" for our five children. There were 20 questions on the sheet pertaining to our family,  and the winner received a cash award. The winner only missed 5 questions. The rest varied from missing 6 to 11 questions. During the last couple of weeks I had  spoken with each of them, and during our conversations I had brought up a few of the answers to the questions.
We had one more question for them for the remaining gift cards. They had to name the games we had played in the previous five years and then put them in the order in which we played them. Vicki got the all in order and won.

A great time was had by all and there was more food , tacos, taquitos, tamales, cheese balls, queso, my homeade salsa(the best in the world) and too many desserts to mention. Thanks to all who helped prepare the meal and to Mom for bringing all the wonderful desserts. Thank you Lord for our healthy and happy family, and for all the gifts we received.

Ok, I have to disagree with the Grandparents choice of winners. I think Travis had the best one!! Next would have been Casey and Kyle. (I guess it really does not matter what my opinion is though.) Love all of them. You guys did great. Love you and miss you on the Blessed Christmas Day.

Couldn't stop myself from posting on Green's blog in response to racist comments he allows. I knew it was a waste of time when I did it but couldn't help myself. Green is such a phoney. It's almost startling the difference between him and his brother. His brother is one of the finest men that I know.

I got rebuked by the usual assortment of Green's apologists. That didn't upset me in the least. One of the Einstein's pegged me as an obvious liberal. Man, was he right on the money. lol You are known by your enemies. Thank you Lord!
