From The Corner Of My Mind

* The weather yesterday had the potential for being very dangerous. I saw on Facebook where there were a few tornados videoed around our area. The weather conditions were nearly exactly the same here as they were in Tuscaloosa three weeks ago.
* I had some breaking news about Kyle Busch, but RPM beat me to it. 83 mph over the speed limit? What was he thinking? Unidentified female in the car? The kid is on top of the world, don't throw it away. The NASCAR channel on SIRIUS/XM is reporting that it was his wife Samantha in the car with him. It was more than likely some cute little saleslady.
* W-spouse caught me with an unidentified female in the truck with me one time. I was trying to do 83 over the speed limit to get away from her. Or did I dream that?
* I have a crick/creek/catch in my neck that won't go away.
* I will be 49 in a few days. I suppose that's expected.
* Three more weeks until vacation.
* By changing my insurance to a commercial status on the Black Beauty, my rate went down significantly. Adding a 16 year old driver to our policy increased it times three.
* If you are need of a electric massage table, I know someone that is going out of buisness and needs to sell three of them. He will sell them way below cost to unload them. Contact me in the comments and I will relay the message to him. The way he explained to me was that you lay down and this thing will work you over like no other.
* We get to keep Madison over the weekend. Her mom and dad are going to Galveston for their one year anniversary. We will be taking her to the lakehouse with us, and take her out on her first boat ride.
* I only slept 3 hours last night. I woke up dreaming around midnight and could not go back to sleep. I hate losing sleep because I never get it back.
* The tornado outbreak this year seems to be more frequent. Anyone else feel that way? I just don't remember them being so bad for the last few years.
* It is a beautiful morning to be outside and enjoying Gods creation. Everything is so green and fresh.
* My blogger is acting up again. I had trouble posting comments to other blogs. I was signed in and it just kept taking me back to the sign in page. It wouldn't let me approve the comments on IPad via email. I had no problem through Blogger.
* Time to get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

When you were going 83 mph over the speed limit to evade Wspouse, were you in a vehicle?

u think kb is on top of the world? really? no championships. Dirtiest driver in garage. No class whatsoever. Cheat. Typically behaves like a 5 yr old. It's just a matter of time before he self implodes and becomes a distant memory.

Kyle's problems are Jeff Gordon's fault. He probably tricked up Kyle's speedometer and he didn't realize how fast he was going. 148 seems like 65 to everybody.
Hope he wasn't in a school zone. Of course then he would have only been going 103.

David-your just 6 months behind me Mr.TurtleShell Man
Mr. Answers-I was flat out running!
Anon-No I don't think KB is on top of the world(actually, I think he's a jerk too), but I do think he's going to be one of the greatest drivers in NASCARS history. If you don't think so that is your choice, but you don't know much about NASCAR then.
Ratherbesailing-Everything in my world is Jeff Gordons fault :-)

LMAO! u think KB is going to be one of the greatest drivers in nascars history? How many cup championships has he won again? Don't be so quick to crown him king of all nascar there froggy. He aint done crap in Winston Cup yet. And who really cares about craftsman truck series or busch series. Too often we crown these young pukes the next great white hope before they really do anything. To me that's spitting in the face of all the true legends in the sports history.

vacation? didn't you just take a week off for the race. We aint in France dude you needa work for a livin over here. Getting $60K dollar truck, eatin caviar, drinkin wine, and taking a week of vaca for every 3 weeks of work aint gonna cut it here in the great US of A. Go back to France.

Anon-The race week was not a vacation per se. I spent 4-6 days entertaining customers. Fun? Yeah. Work? The whole time we were there.

Anon-Just how do you think all the NASCAR veterans(legends) started out? Most were young. spunky and full of attitude. Did you ever watch Buddy Baker, Bobby and Donny Allison just to name a few that were all attitude. I will grant you this, todays young racers are much more blatant and forthcoming in their attitudes and mannerisms, but what young person isn't these days. Most of their attitudes are a lot harsher than ours were(I'm assuming you are in my age range). Read again, I didn't say he was (crowned king) NOW, I said he will become that someday. Just look at his win record. He will redeem the same wins pretty soon in the Sprint Cup Series. Again, I am NOT saying I am Kyle Buschs #1 fan, I am saying that you don't know much about NASCAR if you can't see his ability to drive a race car. One more thing.....You must be a Dale Jr fan....must be.

LMAO ok i aint a dale jr fan but u make gud points...i still dont agree with u but u make good points...ima old school nascar fan...jr johnson...wood bros...alabama gang...bill and ernie elliot. and petty isnt the greatest driver ever...the silver fox is.

What makes this blog better than all the others (including LL)??? He talks about NASCAR at least 2-3 times a week!!! That right there is reason enough...
