Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Life moves on as normal this morning. According to some, the Rapture was to begin today.  I didn't go to bed worried about it, and didn't wake up worried about it. I have been forgiven. Without a doubt, I know where I will spend eternity. Therefore, I'm not worried.
* Since we are all still here, I suppose a few blog posts are in order.
* The last few days have been very busy in my little corner of the working world. W-spouse has been just as busy, and last night we finally got to set on the bed for an hour and catch up on the week. She was exhausted and her knee was killing her. She starts the new position at WRHS after Memorial Day, and won't be on her feet nearly as much.
* She is taking Black Beauty to the dealership this morning to get a small issue taken care of for me. I called the salesman and he said to bring it right over and get it fixed. I am in her truck on location working out of it. She's not going to be a happy camper after seeing all the mud that's in the floorboard.
* The salesman is going to let her borrow a demo so she can run to the mall while they are fixing the truck.
* I hope it's not an Expedition that he lets her borrow. She might go back and trade hers in on one,
* Some of the equipment that we are waiting on was supposed to be here at 7am this morning. It is now 8am and it's still not here. I was here at 6:15am because that is the way I am. How do buisnesses and people get by with not being prompt and on time? I don't get it.
* I also left a little earlier because it was so foggy. I drove 40-50mph for most of the way south on 287 this morning. You couldn't see 50 yards even with the fog lights on.
* I had a sweet tea from Whataburger this morning. A little bit of Heaven on earth.
* A friend of W-spouses is having a hard time of things right now and is hurting. While out riding her bike the other day, W-spouse left her a note in her mailbox wishing her well and telling her that we are praying for her. I love my wife, she is so nice about doing things for others.
* The NASCAR All Star race is tonight in Charlotte. That is always a take no prisoner, shootout till the end.
* Kyle Busch won the truck race again last night. He is absolutely the most dominating force in NASCARs two lower levels of racing. He is very dominating in Sprint Cup also, he just can't seem to rack up a win.
* A huge Jackrabbit keeps showing up around this location we are working on. I would say 18" to the top of his ears.
* I feel a nap coming on, see ya Around The Corner!

I'm with you on the not worried about the end of the world. There's a pretty good chance that it will be an improvement. lol I guess it's just the unknown that causes anxiety among some Christians.

I also, don't understand how some businesses stay in business with their lack of promptness and responsiveness. I might get there upside down but I'm on time 99.9% of the time.

I love you first point. That's exactly how I feel. I'm forgiven.

I may borrow that point if you don't mind!?

Hope you have a great day, enjoy your nap. :)
