Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* 20% chance of thunderstorms today, 60% chance tomorrow. Cloudy and humid now with temps in the 70s.* I have a steering wheel holder for my computer that I made from items purchased at Lowes. I made it to fit the GMC 4 years ago. It's not the right fit for the Ford that I have now. I have tried the one that is manufactured for a steering wheel, but with my 17 monitor, it doesnt fit. It hits the headliner. I may have to build another one.
* W-spouse has already cut me off from any further spending on my new vehicle. I might have to dig into the rathole stash.
* W-spouse was on call last night and she got home after midnight. I saw her a brief 10 minutes before I left this morning. Sometimes we communicate more via this blog and texting than we do in real life. Maybe that's why we get along so well.
* Madison made another trip to the ER late yesterday. Her pediatrician told W-baby momma to take her there and have her tested for RSV again. She tested negative to all tests. It was just a viral chest cold and allergies. They stopped by the house just as I was getting home and I got to hold her and love on her for a while. She was in a bad mood because she didn't feel good.
* Ava G and her parents are headed to Florida for a vacation today. W-spouse and I are going to have Ava G withdrawls. She is getting so big and is already taking steps. She walked about 4 steps to me on Monday.
* The Ford Sync system is a very user friendly system. Easy to learn and easy to operate safely while driving. The voice recognition on the media is very good. If you say the correct command it has yet to fail. Using the VR on the phone is somewhat of a challenge with my redneck twang. Often it dials someone else. I have to slow way down, and actually pronounce the name. My talking skills are about as good as my typing and grammar skills.
* I have used the Parrot  systems on two different vehicles, have played around with the system in a Mercedes and a BMW, the system in the GM vehicles and a few others, but none compares to the Sync system in the Ford so far in my opinion.
* I do have a one problem with the Sync system. Actually it isn't the Sync system, but Apple. Apple IPhone doesn't work with the voice/texting feature. Everything else works with the IPhone, just not the voice/texting. I can't believe with todays technology that Apple hasn't jumped on the bandwagon with this system. I don't text while driving and don't think anyone should, but a VR text system will help eliminate destractions.
* Gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!
