* It was 42 degrees in Decatur this morning, but it's 35 on location near Ponder.
* Have you ever watched the Lion King? This morning, the sun was coming up in the east and there was a tree standing on a hill where the sun was rising up over the horizon through the tree. It reminded me of that scene in Lion King.
* Next week it will be dark at this time. Spring forward, Fall back! One hour head this weekend. We lose an hour of sleep, but gain lots of daylight.
* I saw a few of these last night.
* We took the birthday boy to Chilis last night to eat and there was a school party going on in there. They were turning away patrons because of the wait time. A few of us ended up in the bar with the smokers.
* Then we returned home and had cake and candles. W-spouse, one of these days your going to have to realize that he is not 6 anymore. I'm just saying.
* W-spouse burned her finger lighting the candles. Didn't your mother teach you not to play with fire?
* Has Jar been soaking his feet in this water also?
* I drove through this town while I was there last year.
* I heard some very interesting remarks regarding the lawsuit against the oil companies that was discussed over on LL the other day. Of course it was facts pertaining to my side of the fence. So fair? Probably not.
* My sister and B-law are in the Ft Msdison area looking for a house. I think they have finally found something to buy.
* If you want to purchase this for me, I will give you the information on where to ship it.
* Or this one, either one will work!
* W-spouse and I have plans to share a bottle of wine tonight, she just doesn't know it yet.
* It really needs to rain. Our lake needs help.
* Have a blessed day my friends and see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

When I woke up my Older Boy this morning, I noted the sunrise through his bay window....told him to catch such a pleasant "Good morning!" Beautiful...and I love your Lion King moment. Lol
My Baby Boy will be doomed to Colby's fate. Everlasting Mommying. :-)
Look spunky, how long have you known me? Just because "tiny baby Cole Selby" is 6'3" about 220 and 17 doesn't mean I can't bake him or my other two offspring (6'5", 230, and 27 or 6'5", 240, and 22) a birthday cake. It makes ME happy! And, if truth be told, they don't mind it too much either. lol
Besides, you're 48 and have never turned down a birthday cake, I'm just sayin...
Sardines, gross. My mom loves a sardine and mayo sandwich. Uhg, excuse me, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I always thought they smelled out of the can when she would eat them, I can't fathom what a marina full would smell like.
I'm definately IN on the wine.
And honey really, just get the dang saw. Explain what the heck it's for that the other cutting devices you currently own don't do though.
xo xo
I liked the first saw, but wondered what the heck someone in North Dallas was doing with a chop saw.
But when I saw the second one - well, it shows some use, but that guy put together a pretty handy (if not terribly portable) rig. Besides, he lives in a good place.
Me? I manage the few and far between chop saw tasks with a unit from Harbor Freight. If I had to do serious work with one, though, I'd probably bicycle over and check out that DeWalt.
Well, b-law and sister are back from Iowa. We were very excited about the prospect of having found a house and making an offer tomorrow.....until we arrived back home tonight to an email from the Real Estate agent telling us the sellers plans may be changing. They were also doing a company relocation and there is now a bump in their plans. :( guess we will know more tomorrow.
