Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* It's another beautiful morning with temps in the 50s.
* I'm dragging butt today. I didn't sleep well for some reason. Coffee is on board and starting to kick in.
* For the first time in 3 days, the deer aren't standing in the field this morning. I walked to within fifty yards of them yesterday to get a picture, but they saw me and ran off.
* W-spouse prepared baked chicken, mashed potatoes and baked beans last night for supper. Mmmmm good.
* I might have to start petting on her more often for those type of results.
* You may have seen in the comments yesterday where a faithful reader gave me a 250 gallon propane tank to start my smoker project with. After I get it home, comes the task of trying to cut it open safely. There are many different suggestions online for safely cutting it the first time.
* I have a few ideas in mind for the smoker. Something like this or maybe this or even this.
* I still don't like Jeff Gordon.
* This wasn't W-spouse and I, but it sure sounds fun.
* If you are diabetic like I am, this will make you start eating better and exercising regularly.
* When I was in high school, if the Ag teacher couldn't get your attention he would rattle your butt with a walnut paddle, and no one would call 911.
* A special post will follow this one today.
* A blogger friend has gotten me hooked on Zentangle. I might try my first one today.
* Have a blessed day everyone, see ya Around The Corner!

All of those smoker thingies look exactly the same to me. I don't care what you make it look like, I just want to partake of the goodness that comes off of it once it's done!!

Oh, and don't blow yourself up building it, ok? The runaway grinder was one thing, but......

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

I think Wspouse would definitely not be happy as a hood ornament.

My nephew built a smoker, it looks super nice! He even put H's on the top of the smoke stacks. The handles are cedar post that he hand carved. I'll try and get a pic and send it your way.
