* Temperature was showing 20 degrees this morning. We moved from Ponder to the Justin area. I guess it's true, it's warmer the further South you go. Could reach a high of 50 today, 70 on Sunday.
* You want to know who is the greatest person in the world? My mother. She had a thousand things going on yesterday and still took time out of her day to prepare for Whitney, Cole and I, a pot roast and potatoes. She brought over some fresh okra that I mixed a little corn meal with and fried it all up. That was the best meal I've had in a long time. MMMMMM MMMMMM GOOOOOD!
* Thank you Mom. We love you and we can never repay to you the things that you have already provided for me in my lifetime.
* If that don't bring tears to your eyes, go read something else.
* W-spouse is getting better everyday. She will be on the crutches till Tuesday at least, but her knee is less swollen and she is bending it per Docs orders more.
* Last night after I got the kitchen cleaned up and then crawled into bed, W-spouse snuggled up to me. She has laid flat on her back for nearly two weeks, protecting her knee from either me or W-dog bumping into it. That was a nice change of pace to have her that close.
* I could give you a few more details, but this is a family oriented blog.
* Who cares, I will tell you anyway. She snuggled up close under my arm.....she started petting on me.......I started petting on her.......We BOTH went to sleep. So romantic!

* I'm with you though on the Earnhart Jr though. He may the most popular driver, make the most off of endorsements, and bring in the most money, but he has lost his ability to drive at a level to compete in NASCAR.
* I can feel me losing blog readers by the second.
* I have a seat that I took out of my boat the day that I put it under storage for the winter that needs to be recovered. I keep forgetting to take it. Didn't I say that I never forget to do things in a post on here a while back?
* DirecTv is coming on Monday to make a few changes in our system. Our Hd DVR reciever is 5 years old. We are upgrading to the new system where you can record on one DVR and play it in another room. When I called, the lady said "I see that you are a valued customer". I said "Does that give me a huge discount on anything"? I was surprised, but it did!
* I miss an "r" in surprise a lot.

Sorry but I really do like Harvick! The first race I went to about 5 or 6 years ago he was mixing it up all over the place and got in a wreck and slammed the wall. He came back out 50 laps later with no rear fender to speak of and was STILL mixing it up!!! I have been a fan ever since.
I'm pretty sure that Jeffro Bodine is beyond professional help. The only thing that sucks worst than his choice of drivers is his choice of friends. lol Besides I've given the boy years of counseling advise on everything sports related and haven't seen any improvement from him.
Little E is kind of like Kyle Petty. Daddy's shoes are just a little too big. Just because you have the name doesn't mean you inherited the ability.
i don't know who all the drivers are...but i find it extremely relaxing to sit and watch them all "mash it and turn left"... yes i'm a girl... but i do like the rhythm of a race somehow...
