* 10 degrees in Decatur. Wind blowing 10-15, wind chill is close to 0.
* Snow is again in the forecast for Friday and next Monday. Uggghhhhhh....
* How do I know? Oldest stepson called at 5am, couldn't get out of his driveway. He's a firefighter in the Metromess. I got up and warmed up youngest stepsons Dodge, it's 4-wheel drive. About the time I got it all the ice from the windshield, he called again. He got out and was on his way.
* While I was out, I head to Wallyworld for some driveway/sidewalk de-icer. I was the only customer in the whole store. Yes, they had some left. I even got an ice scraper for youngest sons pickup.
* It was a weird feeling being totally alone in Wallyworld!
* Madison is a lot better at 6am. Just talked to her mom and they are waiting for the doctor to come in. She took breathing treatments again, and suctioned her nasal cavities, during the night.
* W-spouse is recovering great. So far, very little pain. She's lying beside me snoring away right now. Don't tell her I said that though.
* I'm so glad that none of our guys had to work out in this mess yesterday. I had to get out in the wind numerous times yesterday and it was brutal. This morning, the wind was not so bad, but it's still dangerously cold.
* The Allsups parking lot on 287 was full of trucks. If and when they start pulling out of there to head north, there better be a wrecker close. 287 is very icy since it froze again overnight.
* I talked to one of my friends at Jacksboro last night and he had spent the better part of yesterday repairing a water line. I bet that wasn't fun.
* W-sister that lives in the Woodlands has got the flu. She was running a high fever last night and was aching all over. Everyone at her office has had it, and now she does. Keep her in your prayers also please.
* How do you shut down the Internet across the country like they did in Egypt? Is there a switch somewhere that you throw, or a plug that you unplug?
* That was a "facetious" remark. <----- Big word Jar!
* Our Unity Prayer project at church is off and running strong. I haven't missed a day yet. I'm proud of that small accomplishment.
* Stay warm today and please be careful if you have to get out. See ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

Have you already explained what the Unity Prayer is all about? Or...um, did I miss it?
Facetious. You go, Guy!
I imagined what it'd feel like to be outside without a coat yesterday....gave myself a physical shudder. lol
The flu. UGH. All of the little kids are tumbling over like dominoes at our school....I hate it when little ones puke. It's a HORRID feeling when you're a grown-up, so it makes me sad for kids.
Well, not much better today. Any day now you will be planning my funeral. Wow, this stuff is brutal. Last night at 2:30 am, I had 101.9 temp. Been up for a couple of hours, but going back to bed now. Thanks for the well wishes.
Obi,
The Unity Project was inspired by the recent, unexpected passing of a young woman whose father pastors a church in Decatur. She had a dream of churches supporting each other instead of competing with each other. Our church has started the Unity Project where we take a different church every week and pray that God blesses them. We also ask the church if they any have specific things that they would like us to pray for. Our church has decided to quit counting nickles and noses. We want to reach out to other churches to support them.
Corner,
Thanks for being so faithful. The prayers of a righteous man have a huge impact.
That's it.
