Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

Question Of The Day

Have you ever won anything? A prize, lottery or anything else? If so, what , and or how much?

Edit: I once won a putter for driving closest to the pin during a scramble at Runaway Bay. Funny thing was, I don't play golf enough to even know which end of the club to be using. As luck would have it, I still made the best drive on that hole, on that day!

I won a suite at the Mesquite Rodeo once in a raffle at a TCU alumni event.

I gave it away to a friend because 1) it was in Mesquite and 2) it was a rodeo.

Never, ever win anything. i will always contribute to the latest raffle, etc, but never is it my name. Doesn't bother me though, always donating to a good cause.

Hey, Corner -- I was just putting up one of the ONLY things I've ever won last night: A Hallmark ornament that I won in a drawing at the Southlake Hallmark store several years ago. I was stunned when I won! It's a little music box with a ballerina that dances to Tchaikovsky. =)

I won a Halloween costume contest when I was seven. Got a gold stingray bike with a bananaa seat.

That was the coolest bike ever!

As an adult, have won a lot of Chamber or Rotary 50:50 raffles - so much so I would say I am ahead in the game.
