Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Another beautiful morning as the sun is starting to break in the East.
* I ended up having to work for a while yesterday. I think my manager asks me to do that sometimes just because he knows I won't gripe about it. I was bummed out about missing the Talladega race and Cowboys game. Well just maybe the race, not so much the Cowboys.
* I actually got to go home in time to see about half the race.
* The race had all the excitement that I thought it would. The "Big One" never happened. Which is a good thing really, there were a few small wrecks and on at the end that looked really bad with a car getting upside down. All in all, it was very safe race.
* The points chase is as close within three drivers as it has ever been before.
* Jimmy Johnson is leading by 3 points over Denny Hamlin. Jimmy is driving for his 5th straight championship. I wouldn't mind seeing that just because its never been done before. I wouldn't mind seeing Denny win it either, just because he's a great guy with a lot of talent. The third, Kevin Harvick, I would be hate to see him win. He's a jerk, ego-maniac that thinks he's entitled to it. Nuff said.
* Two more working days, and then 6 days of camping and racing.
* The Cowboys sucked.
* The Rangers are waisting my "jump on the bandwagon" time.
* My work month ended up better than expected. Thanks for the prayers.
* W-mom prays for me, and many others every day. She knows when I'm stressed or something is going down and she will throw in that "I prayed for you today" thing. Without fail, I always feel better.
* W-mom also spends an hour a day in her devotional reading and quiet time. I wished I had an hour a day of quiet time.
* The boys are signaling for me to go to work, see ya Around The Corner!
